Chapter 7

It's been almost 9 months since I caught Meghan with Jordan. She hasn't been the same, but she did break up with Jake to go out with Jordan. They've held hands, hugged, and even kissed. Meghan and I were at lunch eating, then Jordan walked up to us. He whispered into Meghan's ear, too quiet for me to hear. They talked for a few minutes, and finally decided to talk to me. It was kind of awkward at this point, but I really wanted to know what they were talking about. They finally looked at me, and took me into an empty classroom. We went inside and they locked the door. I got really scared and asked what was going on. Now, Meghan isn't the smartest person, and Jordan didn't know anything about girls, so they asked me a question.

"Why has my stomach been hurting so much lately and why has it gotten bigger?" Meghan asked me.

I started to think. 'It's been almost 9 months. But she doesn't look that big. Please no. No no no no.'

"We're going to the doctor. Now. Jordan start the car." I demanded.

As we walked to the door, Meghan fell to the floor in pain. I yelled for Jordan to bring the car to the front entrance of the school, while I carried Meghan. I put Meghan into the car, told Jordan to drive to the hospital, while I stayed in the back with Meghan. We got there after about 15 minutes and Meghan was in terrible pain. We got her into a room and the doctor examined her.

"Kids, I hate to tell you this, but Meghan is in labor." The doctor explained.

"Labor? As in she's pregnant?!?" Jordan asked.

"Yes, she's been pregnant for almost 9 months, and her baby is a few weeks early. Who is the father?" He asked.

"Um, I am." Jordan said afraid.

"Well she's about to give birth. I hope you kids are okay with being parents, because your baby's head is out. She had contractions a while ago, and that's why she fell earlier." The doctor explained.

"Babe, I love you. I can't believe we're going to be parents." Jordan told Meghan.

"I love you too, and I can't believe it either. But I'm happy my baby is gonna have you as a father. What if you leave me?" She said.

"I will never leave you babe. I can't wait to see our beautiful baby." They started talking to each other.

A few minutes passed, and before I knew it, Meghan was holding her newborn son. Then she mysteriously had more contractions. The doctor said this was normal. Then she felt another baby. She was having twins! About an hour later, Jordan and Meghan were holding their children. She had a boy and a girl, and they were identical. They named their son Calvin and their daughter Hailey.
