Hiyori had gotten up that next morning and gotten ready, brushed her hair, put on some summer like clothing. Once she was finished she left the house early, right before dawn, she held her small bag clutched over her shoulder as she made her way to the public park, where no one was around. Her face lit up with surprise and she looked around the small park for anyone, her eyes scanned everywhere, nothing. "Looking for something.?" A familiar chuckle was heard from behind her, their the blue-eyed god looked at her with a soft smile. "Y-Yato!" Without anything else she swung her arms tightly around his back and arms, pulling him into her arms as she started to cry against his shoulder. "H-Hiyori?!" Yato's ocean eyes widened with confusion and worry, though a slight brush of red covered his cheeks, as he slowly pulled the human girl tightly against him.
Three hours past
Hiyori and Yato had sat on Kofuku's shrine steps for an hour now, Hiyori had explained to Yato about the situation she had be dealing with about her mother and father's divorce, and her fathers aggressiveness. Yato's eyes went blank for a moment, no light shown in them, "Oh.. So he hurt you.." He had an evil grin emerge on his lips. "Yato please don't!" She stuck her hands out towards him slightly and his light came back. "He did it because he still loves her.. I mean haven't you loved someone before..?!" She blurted out and he looked at her, their was a long pause and he cleared his throat, awkwardly. "No.. I haven't.." He looked down a bit embarrassed but then gazed back up at her. "Hiyori! I can't just let this happen to you anymore! Come live with me, Yukine, Kofuku and Daikoku in Kofuku's shrine!..." Yato said a little loudly
