Chapter 14

Ross' POV
I sat on my bed, the photographs spread out around me. The photos of Laura's sister were in one pile and the ones of both of us were in the trash can. I couldn't bear to look at them, it hurt too much. Even though she was already gone I felt more motivated then ever to find Laura's killer. Of course I had no idea how I would do it, my thoughts were interrupted by my phone ringing. I rolled off the bed knocking a few pictures off my sheets to unplug my phone. The phone number flashing across my screen was one I had hoped to never see again.
"Why are you calling me still?" I asked tears welling up in my eyes. "It's over she's gone. Please stop calling me." I begged tears dripping down my face.
"Wow Ross, that's pretty rude. You know I did this for you. Now that I got that b*tch out of the way we can finally be together." She crowed through the phone.
"FOR ME YOU DID THIS FOR ME. I DON'T KNOW WHO YOU ARE BUT THIS NO WAY TO GET CLOSE TO ME. WHOEVER YOU ARE YOU NEED HELP!" I shouted collapsing on the floor shuddering.
"Ross Lynch I'm surprised at you. You know I thought you were different. But no, you take normal girls like me, make us believe that we were in love, then leave us for someone more famous." She said beginning to loose her cool which I had never heard her do before. And with that she hung up. So we had been in love? Or at least dating I knew that much.
I wandered over to my desk grabbing a piece of paper while flicking through the scrapbook my mom always made on each for we went on. I attempted to name each girl I was in a picture with I finished with a decent list of suspects time to stalk.
