Chapter 2

LAURA'S POV

        "Ross! Oh my gosh, what did you do?" I screamed at him. I whipped my head around to see the zombiw, vampire, and mummy laughing their heads off. At the same time the vampire was wiping off some pale makeup, the zombie took off a mask, and the mummy was unwrapping the bandages from his head. Soon there were no monsters laughing at me, only Rocky, Riker, and Ellington. 

        "Oh my gosh guys, this was not funny," I said as I felt the tears of shame coming to my eyes. Then I decided to play my own little trick on the jokesters. I started bawling my eyes out and squeezing my chest really tight, I sat down of the fog machine and put my face in my hands. 

        "Hey Laur," Ross said sympathetically, "sorry we scared you just some halloween fun." The others agreed quietly. All of a sudden I stopped crying and broke out laughing.

        "You must have forgotten that you were dealing with a professional actress here," I said through my  loud giggles. All at once Rydel came sprinting up the stairs and into the dark attic.

        "Laura there you are, I heard you scream and tried to get her as fast as I could, and why are my brothers and friend dressed up for trick-or-treating." She said through deep breaths.

        "They played a not cool prank on me, and I screamed like five mintes ago what took you so long?" I replied quenstioning. Rydel blushed and looked at her feet.

        "I had to say goodbye to Brad," I returned her with a confused stare. " He was the security guy I met."

        "Wait, back up, YOU GOT CAUGHT! We could go to jail!" I yelled alarmingly.

        "No, no Brad is cool, he asked me what I was doing, then he asked me my number, we are going to hang out at the halloween fair tomorrow sometime." She replied protective like. Of coure when I ask Rydel to keep watched she gets a boyfriend. Classic Delly.

        "Sorry Laur, how about I take everybody out for pizza?" Ross suggested. Everyone smiled and walked to Ross' car and piled in.
