Amber got worse. Most people didn't see it but I did. She was less outgoing and she spent most of her time locked away somewhere reading.
Josh and I took turns housing her. Amber mostly stayed with Josh, which was (mostly) fine, because his parents are her godparents.
One day I hinted to Josh's mom that Amber might need therapy and she agreed instantly.
Amber slowly got better. At least that's what it seemed like.
