After I was discharged from the hospital, I needed to unwind. I needed to go somewhere to leave my problems behind and just enjoy myself. And Josh had the perfect place.
"How about," he said, obviously excited, "we go to Disneyland? Just you and me!"
I think he was going to say more but I was overjoyed.
"Yes! I would love that! I love you!" I gave him a big hug. "When are we leaving? Right now? Well, don't worry! I'll get packing!" I turned and started toward my room, but Josh grabbed my wrist.
"I have everything paid for. We are leaving next Saturday." He smiled at my happiness.
"Next Saturday?! But what about right now?"
He just laughed. "Already paid for."
I sighed. "Fine. But you have to let me go shopping. I need to buy some Disney stuff."
Josh pulled me into a hug. "Of course. Anything you want."
I smiled. "I love you! Thank you so much!"
It looked like my life would finally get better.
