First day

*Beep beep beep*

I wake up to hear my annoying alarm, alerting me to wake up so I don't miss my first day of work. I sit up and reach my arm over to turn off my alarm. I look at the time to see it say 6:00.

I slowly get out of my bed, trying my best to not wake up my roommate. I mean if my alarm didn't already. The damn things so loud, I guess that's a good thing.

I make my way over to my dresser and get out clean clothes and grab my uniform.

Once I have everything I need to go over to the bathroom to take a quick shower. I make sure the water is warm enough then get In.

"Scruba scruba dub dub. And I lather and I soak and I lather then I do a little jiggly jig jig!" I sing out

I swear the things I sing and say in the shower is crazy. We all think weird things in the shower, right?

Finally I finish up and get out and put on my uniform. When I go back to my room and see the clock I freak out.

"How in the hell could it already be 6:30?!" I say to my self

I'm freaking out, I have to be to work in ten minutes! How will I make it in time? This is not good, not good at all. And considering it will be my first day, I won't be making a good first impression.

I grab my keys and rush out the door into my crappy little jeep. There's no time to eat breakfast. I'm sure I can go without it for now. Or at least I hope.

Finally after a hectic 8 minute drive I finally arrive. Luckily I don't live to far away from the cafe. I rush into the cafe, I know I probably look like hell from all the worrying I did on the way here. Let me just say that LA drivers are ruthless, they drive like crazy! It's times like these I miss living in Milwaukee.

"Hey, newbie!" The lady behind the counter says

"W-what did you just call me?" I ask laughing a little

I mean it was a joke right? Was it an insult? Does she hate me already!?!

"Well you are the new person coming to work here right?" She asks

"Well, yea." I answer

"So, I called you a newby cause your new." The lady said with a smile

"Hopefully that nickname won't stick." I laugh worriedly

"Do you want it to?" She asks

"Well, I mean, not really." I answer

"Then it will stick!" She says with an even bigger smile

"Oh, ah, great." I say

I walk behind the counter towards the cash register.

"Hey, ah, do you know where Amanda is?" I ask "she's supposed to be training me today."

"Oh, yea I know where she is." She says "Her and I are really close, I always know where she is!"

"Great! So, where is she?" I ask

"You're looking at her!" She says
