Coffee shop love ( Daithi de Nola x reader)

Back again

*next morning*

You wake up once again at 6:00 this time you made sure your shower was quick and easy, so you can be out of the door and not have to stress the whole way to work about being late.

On your car ride to work you kept thinking about last night. Hours on end you and Lizzie listened to a couple of friends blow each other up in GTA. You couldn't hold the laughter in, just thinking about it made you laugh.

Finally you reached your destination which was work. Another crappy day of work, so much fun!

You walk in and Amanda waves to you and of course you wave back.

"Glad you came back!" Amanda said.

"Well it is my job, and the only way I make income, so I guess I don't have a choice." I say laughing a little

"Well, are you ready for another long morning?" Amanda asks

"No." You whisper

"Hey, it will be alright!" Amanda says patting my shoulder. "I'll help you! But, soon you won't even need it!"

You smile at her.

You start to brew the coffees and reload the cup holders. After about 10 minutes your first customer comes in. You turn around to see the same tall man that came in yesterday. Which was surprising I recognized him since so many people came to get coffee yesterday.

I walk up to the cash register to serve and ask what he would like.

"So, Daithi." I say which a big smile since I remembered his name "is this to go or stay in?"

"Ye asked this time!" He said with a big goofy smile

"Hardy har har." You said sarcastically, yet still smiling.

He laughed at your comment "so, regular brew with two sugar packets and a bit of creamer?" You ask Daithi

"How'd ye know?!" He said laughing

"I remember some things." You say laughing.

You walk to the counter behind you to start Daithi's coffee.

"You still didn't tell me to go or to stay?" You ask Daithi

"I'll stay." He replies

"Great!" You say while pouring the coffee in the cup. Once you finished you bring it over to Daithi, who is siting in a small table in a corner.

"Here you go!" You say putting down the coffee next to him

"Thanks!" He says

You notice a few more customers come in and go up to the cash register to take there orders.

After you make the coffees and give it to them you go and clean some tables. There wasn't as many customers today, probably all at Starbucks, can't blame them.

"So newbie!" Amanda says while your cleaning the tables "what did you do for your first night in Los Angeles ?"

"Well firstly it wasn't my first night, more like the 8th." You say laughing. "But, uhh, I just played some games with my roommate."

"Ohhh! Games! What games?" Amanda asks

"GTA, there was these couple of Friends that went crazy! And this squeaker kid or adult, it was to hard to tell." You said laughing
