(Next day, at work)

"So, I heard your little convo you had yesterday." Amanda says smiling and brewing a pot of coffee.

"My 'convo'?" I asked

"Yea, with you and Daithi." She replied, with a smirk on her face. "About the gamer tags and all that."

"You were listening?" I asked, laughing

"What?! No, of course not!" Amanda said sarcastically, laughing.

We both laughed. Of course she listened. "So what happened?" Amanda asked, being her funny noises self.

"Nothing really." I replied, truthfully. Nothing really did happen, we texted a little then that's it. Nothing much happened, sadly. I guess maybe, I want to do more. By more, I mean talk more, play games. Have a friendship maybe even a little bond. Which sounds weird when I really say it.

"Speak of the devil." Amanda says turning around to clean the counter.

I look up at the door to see Daithi walk in. Right on time.

"Hey, same as always?" I asked

"Uhm, yes please." Daithi replied doing that goofy smile he always does. "So, are ye alright?"

I turn around to face him "yea?" I replied, confused wondering why he asked. "Why?"

"Just, ye know. About yesterday, your roommate seemed kinda concerned about you."

"Oh, that- that was nothing.  Just some arguing that got a little heated, that's all. Really."

"Ok, that's good." Daithi replied, rubbing the back of his neck." So uhh- about that game- w-when would you like to play? That is if you want to of course!" Daithi said, sounding a little nervous.

I smiled, I was happy he asked. I don't know exactly why I was, but I was. I think us playing a game together would be fun- interesting. "Yea, when would you like to play?" I asked handing him his coffee.

"When ever you like!"

"This is normally the part I would give you my phone number so you could contact me when you would like to play, but of course you already have it." I say laughing

He laughs "yea, guess that's not needed."

He has a cute accent. No, what!? Why, why would I say that?! I- no, no no no. Don't think that Megan. Never ever think that crazy! He is just some guy with a voice. So think clearly! Don't think that crazy stuff!

"When do you get of work?" Daithi asks, breaking my thoughts

"What?- oh uhh, at eleven." I replied

"Great! Would you like to play around noon or one-ish?"

"Sure."

---

"I'm home, sweetheart!" I joked when I entered the front door to my apartment .

"Ahhh welcome home handsome!" Lizzie said

"Handsome?" I asked, laughing a little

"Well yea, you would be the husband in this relationship!" Lizzie joked.

"No!" I said, still laughing

"Oh come on we both know you would be!" Amanda joked. "So did you talk to him?"

"Who?" I said, playing dumb. I knew exactly who she was talking about. Daithi.

"You know who!"

"He asked to play some games around noon." I replied, I couldn't help but smile. I was glad he asked, because I did want to play some games with him. I don't know why, I just really really did.

"Great!" Amanda yelled, jumping up and down like a hyper fool.

"Calm down." I said laughing at her excitement

"You have 10 minutes before you start playing! Go get ready and look nice!"

"You do know he won't be able to see me, right?"

"Oh, yea." Amanda said, laughing nervously.

---

"God damnit! People in this lobby are such ass holes!!" Daithi yelled

I couldn't help but laugh, people kept blowing up Daithi, and his cars and planes. I don't know why they did, but either way it was hilarious! And of course he raged, which was even more funny.

It was nice, the two of us playing. Like friends. Even though I haven't known him for very long it kinda feels like we are just old friends.

"Why are ye targeting me?!" Daithi yelled at a guy that had a big rocket launcher.

"Because your an easy target!" I said laughing

"Oh, come on, NOO!" Daithi yelled, and of course the guy blew him up, launching his dead body in the air.

"Wow, Daithi people really don't like you!" I said laughing hysterically

"Ye really enjoying this aren't ye!" Daithi said, I could tell he was laughing aswell.

"Yea, a little." I replied, doing my goofy laugh I do way to often
