Laura..

Have you ever wondered if sun and the moon ever met? It reminds me of a relationship. The moon being the girl and the sun being the guy. When daylight comes she'll have to go. The sun warms the earth for half the day or so. The moon takes it's place. Do you remember when you were a young child and it was late at night, you being in car, think the moon is following you? A common misconception. The moon stays. We are the ones who move. We revolve around the sun. Which is also ironic because the sun sets in the west and rises in the east. Wrong. The sun does not move. So how do the the sun and meet? We just get to the point where the angle of sun is sort of behind the moon. That is only from our perspective. Many believe the phenomenon of a solar eclipses is rare. But the truth is in the eye of the  beholder. Would you believe me that a solar eclipse happens every 18 months. I just Googled it seconds ago. Not every thing you see is true. Your eyes seem to wander and misguided you in many ways. Not all parts of the world get to see the sun and moon meet. Your eyes are playing tricks on you. What you didn't realize is it is all in front of you. The sun and the moon have a forbidden love. We revolve around sun,  it does not revolve around you. If you only knew what your eyes deceive because your eyes are clouded over in a total  eclipse and you can not see the beauty of anything.

Typically, I like to be observant. However, I do have my days where I think the sun is to bright.  I want to close all the blinds and live in deep recess of a dark room. Those are the days where if I could live in a blanket I would.

Then again, Something has to make that big star shine so bright. The sun is the biggest star. And yet, the moon is surrounded by billions and maybe even trillions of other stars. Does the sun try to shine so bright it dims all the the others? It seems so. Thus my theory of why the sun and moon meet flourishes with new evidence. I mean I have to give cudos to the sun.. When I see it I knew I survived. That is my goal in life.

Write, read, drink coffee, get few hours of sleep, repeat.

The same thing over and over. Like a cycle almost. I need a life. I am the most boring person on planet Earth. For the last hour, I have been ranting, inside my head may I add, about the ongoing , fiery love between the sun and moon.  I repeat get a life , Marano. The sad thing is the only thing I have out of my study life is Connor. My college drop out , 29 year old friend. That has a passion for coffee like myself. I'm going to pursue that said passion now...

Later, At Connor's Coffee Shop....

"Get out the way peasants your queen is here." I walk over to counter seeing few customers barely any at all .

"Hello , princess. How may I serve you?" Connor teasingly questioned.

"I told you to stop calling me princess . It ruins the swag of it all." I scoff.

"You have no swag little missy. In fact I'm pretty sure you ruined the word for all of mankind." He says as he wipes down the counter.

"Please, people call me L- dawg that is pretty swag if you ask me."

"Aha, but I didn't ask you." "You going to order something?" Connor remarks.

"Just because you haven't made any tips because of low business.. " I gesture to the empty booths. I freeze in my place not finishing my rude remark.

"What is it Laura?" Connor's eyebrows draw together.

"Who is that guy?" I say pointing  to a shady blonde dude.

"Just a dude, maybe in your general area from what I heard around." He says.

"Mmhmm.." I say.. "Just a dude."

"And now you have officially went into to Laura Land." "I got to bust a few tables."

I really didn't care what Connor was doing at the moment.

I have gotten blocked by his cloudy, colorful eyes.

What color is that anyway?

Something is in my way and I intend to move .

Screw you, solar eclipses..
