Laura.

"No time to say hello, goodbye. I'm late I'm late I'm late!" ~ White rabbit from Alice in wonderland..."

The time seems to be frozen. But honest to God's truth it is ticking by faster than it should be or the amount I  absolutely need it to be. I have completely forgot that I have classes to attend to in under 15 minutes.
The question is do I have time to at least introduce myself to the pending Picasso dude in the corner of a quite lonely little coffee table.
From my observations, This dude looks like an artist. He has a notebook. Sketched a few things maybe? A song writer? Perhaps. My eyes dart to his fingers edged, and ridged. Musician? Most  likely. I mean he looks like a guitar player. However, I would let him play me like a upright bass.

Way to give in submission, Marano.

5 minutes have passed.

Subtract that from getting myself together, a five minute walk on campus, and me thinking dirty thoughts.

I had about 4.5 minutes to get this guy up close.

Then my eyes were by his. He caught me fucking staring. how embrassing..

I was absolutely rattled to my bones.

I dashed behind the counter turning around quickly. I grabbed a apron , knowing that Connor doesn't like me touching his idea of neatly folded aprons. I put on a hat to cover my flushed features..  I have 8 minutes left.

Make your move, Marano.

I go over to the Booth trying my best to not embarrass myself again with this dude. I speak what sounds so vague when I want to be vivid.

Wow. His eyes even more sharp with color up close. Damn Crayola eyes.

"Do you need a refill or something?"

So interesting, Marano, way to be an eye catcher.

His voice was hoarse.

"Black please." He states. My breath gets stuck.

Someone please drive me to an edge of cliff and push because I'm about to jump.

"Bittersweet, I see, I'll be right back with that refill of yours." I say solemnly.

Connor saw me. Shit.

"What are you doing in a uniform you don't work here and you about to be late for your class." Connor scolds me.

Shit again. I had 2 minutes.

"That dude over there.. Is my match made in hell just let me do this." I counter.

"Laura, you barely know him . Watch what your doing with him." Connor warns whispering softly.

I held the coffee with one hand. Making it the perfect shade of black.

"I can see it in his eyes very colorful and vibrant." I say sort of defending this unknown stranger.

Connor shakes his head as I walk towards to the table that is made for two , but only sits one. I place the coffee on that said table.

"Here you are.." I say. "Black coffee."
I hear my own voice coming hoarse.

He stares intently. Eyes piercing through me.  He says nothing.

I guess it's that time where I make a dash for it.  I turn. I dash for the door throwing my apron and hat at Connor.

"Hey!" "Laura what did I tell you about the aprons!!?" Connor shouts.

"Sorry Connor, had to pull a white rabbit." I say as the door slams behind me.

I breath in and out.

Way to be natural, Marano.

You cowardly rabbit always have to run.. No time to say hello, goodbye. You are scared you are going to be late, late late.

I had a total of 5 minutes to get to class...

A:n I like updating this book for obvious reasons ;). This chapter was lame.
