Avi slouched his way to yet another glamorous, girly, glittery clothing store trailing after her girlfriend that was already at the second shelf, checking for something to buy. It was just 5:30 in the afternoon, but man. Was he tired! Well, he was at the mall for 3 hours now.
He gave an exhausted smile to a seemingly glowing small couch and dropped every piece of paper bag dangling in his red-lined arms and every boxes he held. 'Glorious!' He thought. He sat down with a breathy groan as he haul himself on the foam-filled furniture while fishing his phone out of his pocket. He continued by playing some sort of stacking game that he just installed this morning to entertain himself at the moment.
"Avi!" Ecstatic, she squealed while showing the dress she was wearing with an elaborate turn. "Look at this! Isn't it cute?"
Avi lifted his head up only to see Kirstie wearing a blue floral dress in front of him. With all his energy drained, he seemed too tired to reply even with a smile to her. She frowned when he saw his blank expression and immediately thought of the worst.
"You don't like it?" She said, disappointment filling every corner her voice, crushing all the excited energy from her. Her face fell as her feet automatically turned around. Her shoulders slouched down while she trudged back to peel off the dress and retrieve it back where it was originally hung. Avi's eyes widen at her reaction and jumped up on his feet to change her girlfriend's sudden moodswing. "No, no!" He said holding her by the shoulder. "I do! I'm just really tired and kind of hungry."
Avi frantically searched for any sign of forgiveness in her eyes, which it did. "Okay." She smiled. "Let's go eat. I'm just going to run this through the counter." She pinched his nose with as slight tiptoe from her feet. She was wearing flats by the way.
"But seriously, do you like it?" She turned her head with a last approval from her boyfriend that was currently picking her other shopping bags. He stood up and kissed her hair as a sign of definite approval. She skipped to the lady in the counter to legally and finally own her chosen dress after emerging from the not-so-big fitting room at the back of the store.
Seeing her beloved suffer at the exit, she took some of the bags and intertwined their fingers. "Sooooo. Where do you want to eat?" She looked up at him with a crinkle on her nose which Avi found adorable. He paused for a second before telling her his final decision. Taco Bell. She stared at him for a minute with squinted eyes and a raised eyebrow. "Okay, Taco Bell it is."

Kirstie volunteered to order their food while she told Avi to find them an unoccupied table. She was the next person in line when she saw a girl place herself in the seat where she was supposed to be seating.
Avi was surprised when a cup was suddenly placed down by a feminine hand, specifically not Kirstie's. It was Stacey, his ex. He didn't knew why she was suddenly in front of him and he has no plan whatsoever, to know about it.
Avi was trying to talk her away but instead her lips let out a sultry laughed and placed her hand on his arm. He turned his head and met his very very jealous girlfriend's flesh-burning glare in the middle of the not-so-clean fast food restaurant. He responded to her glare with a nervous, maybe scared, pathetic look with a matching pursed lips and beads of sweat trickling on his forehead. He removed the hand from his with great care. But instead she intertwined their fingers. Some of her long, red nails scraped the back of his hand which made him much more uncomfortable than before. He looked back and saw an angry, fuming, indignant, hot in the collar Kirstie stomping towards their table. He felt as if the floor was breaking at every step Kirstie makes, and in that hole out came fire from the realm below ours. Every step she takes was equivalent to one bucket of sweat that Avi's body was producing. He gulped as she slammed the tray down at their table and dragged a nearby seat and placed it beside him as close as possible.
