“Belle!” My step mother screamed. “You need to get up, darling, or you will be late for school!” I cringed when she called me darling, and slowly got up. I had only been here for a day, and I was already starting school. It’s the middle of the semester, so that’s fantastic.

I took a quick shower, and shaved me legs, before walking towards my closet. I decided on dark washed skinny jeans, a plain white top, with a low v-neck, my white converse, and a black beanie. I tried doing something with my hair, to make myself a bit more presentable, but it wasn’t having it, so I just let it flow down naturally. I applied a bit of mascara. I hated wearing too much makeup. I took one last look in the mirror. I looked normal, plain. Maybe I should have picked out something nice, or cute, but to be honest I really didn’t care about my first day. If I looked good, then everyone would expect me to look good every single day, and that’s not possible.

I grabbed my book bag and made my way downstairs.

“I made breakfast!” Roo exclaimed. I kept myself from rolling my eyes.

“No thanks.” I mumbled, and the smile on her face fell. “Where is Dad?”

“He left early, but he wishes you good luck. You can use my car for now to get to school, until we get you your own.” She handed me her keys and I left the house, not saying goodbye.

The drive to the school was fairly quick, only about 10 minutes. The parking lot was pretty full, but thankfully I found a spot, before I was late. I got many different looks from everybody. Jeez, tough crowd.

I looked my new peers over, all of a sudden my eyes going wide. The three boys from the other day. The curly haired one, with the green eyes that wouldn’t leave my mind, was starring right at me. I didn’t know what to do. Do I smile? Wave? Why was he starring at me like that…His gaze was strongly fixed on me, and I suddenly became very self cautious, wishing I looked better.

I composed myself and made my way inside the school, feeling his green eyes on my back, and headed to the main office to grab my schedule.

“You have a few minutes to get to your locker.”The women who gave me my schedule explained. I thanked her and went searching for my locker.

The school was a normal high school, but it did have a wider range of skanks than I had originally expected. Maybe that’s why I was getting so many weird looks, because I don’t look like one of them?

Finally finding my locker, I opened it to place my bad inside, so all I had to carry was my textbook for the first class. I must have not been paying attention to my surroundings, because all of a sudden, my locker slammed shut. I noticed his presence. It was him. I looked up, finally able to appreciate the color of his eyes, since we were standing so close. I took a step back, trying not to faint. Never in my life have I come across someone so beautiful. He was a lot taller than me, although most people were, since I was only 5’5. His curly hair was pushed back, and I desperately wanted to run my fingers through them. He was wearing black skinny jeans, and a black top, with a low cut, making his tattoos more visible. I didn’t think he had this many. His hands were pushed into his front pockets, and he was tugging his lip ring in between his lips.

“Umm…” I breathed, after what seemed like forever. I had no idea what to say to him. What do you say when you find yourself before a god-like person. Jesus, I need to control myself.

“Hello.” He replied. His voice was enough to send me in a coma. It was low, and raspy, and it was the sweetest sound I had ever heard. “Whats your name, love?” He just called me ‘love.’ No one had ever called me that before, but I suppose it’s a common thing over here, in England. Probably just a friendly gesture. His voice was slow, and smooth, and if it had a feel, it would probably feel like velvet.

“I asked you a question.” He spoke again, bringing me back from my train of thought.

“B-Belle.” I breathed, and he leaned against the lockers, our eyes never leaving contact. “Yours?” He smirked.

“Harry.” We were getting a few weird looks from people, which was the last thing I needed, since I was already getting unwanted attention.

We stood there, just looking at each other. To be fair, my body felt frozen, and if I had tried to move, I would have failed miserably. And anyways, I rather liked looking into his eyes. Listen to me, I sound like a moron.

The bell rung and people were quickly making their way to class. I suppose I should probably be doing the same. Bummer.

The little space that was in between our bodies was removed as he leaned down and brought his face to me ear.

“’I will see you around.” I felt his cool breathe on me. He smelled minty. As he backed away, he gave me a wink, and turned around. I let out a breath as he left, not noticing I was holding it in, and made my way to my first class, hoping my knees wouldn’t give out from  that…encounter?

Was that how the English made friends? Well we weren’t really friends, but maybe this is the normal way of introducing yourself?

The day was fairly boring, but at least it was soon coming to an end, just one last class. A few people tried to talk to me, and I had made a friend, an actual friend. Her name was Sophie, and she seemed like a very confident person, but apart from that, I tried to keep the communication with others to a minimum, since I suck at it. When I asked her about the curly haired boy, she said that he was trouble, and to stay away.

I walked into my English class, which was the only class I am looking forward too. There were a few people already seated, but not much since I was a bit early. I made my way to the back of the room, and took a seat.

And then Harry walked into the room. He had a petite, blonde haired girl, with grey eyes by his side. She sat down on the other side of the room, expecting him to do the same, but then he noticed me. My mouth fell open but I closed it as fast as I could, hoping he didn’t notice, as he made his way over to me. The blonde shot me glares. Relax girl, I don’t want him here either. Its not that Harry made me feel scared, its just that he intimidated me. And after what Sophie said, I decided it was best to stay away.

I hardly had time to process what was happening as he sat in the seat beside me.

Yay for chapter 2 :) Dont know if this is an okay length or not..x
