Sorry for any errors...Xx. :)
School dragged on. I didn’t really pay much attention to my lessons, partly because they were boring and I had already learned them, and partly because my mind was clouded with thoughts of Harry.
I wonder if he would be in English, I thought as I made my way to that class. I mean, he did say he would see me, right? I still have not decided whether I wanted him to be in class or not. He just made me feel…weird? And I didn’t particularly like spending so much time thinking about some guy I had just met.
I smiled as I entered the class, noticing that Jacob had already taken his seat in front of mine.
“Hey there!” He greeted me as I sat down, giving me a bright smile. Harry still wasn’t here. Maybe he would show up, I mean class does not start for another two minutes.
“Hi.” I replied, trying to give him a warm smile back.
Class began, and everyone took their seats, but Harry still had not shown up. He obviously would not be here. Some part of me was glad. Now I can actually focus on the lesson.
Jacob and I did not talk for the rest of the class, as we were too busy with work. Jacob seemed smart, and interested in the lesson, like me. I had never really met a guy who liked to learn.
I wonder if Harry liked school. Of course he doesn’t, you idiot. That’s why he is skipping. My subconscious fired at me. Stop thinking about him! At this point I just wanted to go back home, and take a nap. Constantly thinking about Harry was tiring. Crap! How would I even get home? I had gotten a ride with Harry this morning, and now he bailed.
The class finally got dismissed and I walked out with Jacob, him talking about why he enjoyed Romeo and Juliet so much. I was trying to pay attention, but I couldn’t.
“Hey Jacob,” I interrupted him and we walked out of the school. “Do you know where the nearest bus stop is? My um…ride could not make it to pick me up.”
“Oh. No worries Belle! I would be glad to drive you home!” He smiled. He was no nice.
“I couldn’t make you do that, Jacob. It will not take me long to get back home.”
“It is not a hassle Belle.” He laughed. “I insist.”
“That will not be necessary.” A low raspy voice joined the conversation. Jacob’s eyes widened as he took in the figure behind me. I turned around and saw Harry towering over me.
I looked up at him, but Harry refused to make eye contact with me. He was too busy glaring at Jacob.
“Let’s go, Belle.” He finally said to me, still not looking down to me.
“That is alright mate; I was going to drive her home.” Jacob said and Harrys jaw locked. How did I get in the middle of this?
“I’ve got her.” Harry replied sternly before grabbing my arm and pulling me away. I said a quick “bye” to Jacob, and gave him an apologetic smile, while trying to pull my arm from Harrys grip. Why was he so pissed?
He finally let go as we reached his car. Even though he seemed mad, he still opened the door for me, and he slammed it so hard I thought it would fall off.
“I cannot believe you were going to let that asshole take you home!” He yelled as he got into his seat.
“Well, I did not have much of a choice.” I retorted, trying to keep my voice down. I was not one to usually yell, but Harry just made me so mad. I have been in his presence for no more than ten minutes and we are already ripping each other’s heads off. “You were not here today, remember? I had no other option.”
