This chapter was kinda sucky..sorry. And sorry for any errors! Xx. :)
I quickly got up as my alarm clock buzzed loudly. It was 7, which gave me an hour before Harry would come and pick me up. I felt a little uneasy about him driving me to school, since I had only known him for a day. And because he only wants to fuck you. My subconscious remarked and I rolled my eyes. I know this is the only reason Harry is being nice, well, being his version of nice. After the ride I will try to stay away. I really couldn't give Harry anything. I was completely inexperienced. I hadn't even had a proper first kiss yet, unless you count Sam from preschool, under the slides. But yea, Harry shouldn't waste his time. And I was in no way willing to give it up to him. Not that he wasn't attractive, which my God he was. Even with all of his tattoos and his few piercings. But I just wasn't that kind of girl.
I snapped out of my thoughts, seeing as I should probably pick out something to wear. It was already 7:15. Fifteen minutes wasted on thinking about Harry! Urgh.
I made my way to my closet, trying to pick out something simple. I didn't want Harry to think I was trying to look good for him or anything.
I finally decided on some black skinny jeans, my white converse, a plain white tank top with thin straps, and a maroon colored cardigan. I then moved to my brown hair, and curled the tips slightly. Okay, I will admit, I did my hair for Harry. But I didn't want to look like a complete slob, after all he still is a guy. I didn't apply any makeup. 7:40. Jeez, trying to look simple and like you were not trying takes some work, I thought as I got my book bag and made my way downstairs.
"Morning, darling." Roo said and I hummed in response as I made my way into the kitchen.
"Where is Dad?" I asked, eyeing the food she had made. I felt bad since she had gone to extremes to make this fancy breakfast, especially since I would not be eating any of it.
"He came home late from work last night, still asleep." She giggled. I nodded and picked up an apple, noticing her frown.
"Not very hungry." I apologized. If she w as not my stepmother, I might actually like her.
"That is alright, dear." What was with all of these nicknames? She began to dig in her purse, until she found her car keys, handing them to me, but I objected.
"I am getting a ride from a friend." I explained, and right on cue, a loud horn came from outside. I made my way towards the door before turning around and quietly thanking her for making breakfast, even though I had not touched it. I still had manners.
I closed the door behind me and began walking towards Harry, who was leaning against a large black car. Sorry, but I know nothing about cars, but his car made him even hotter. I am aloud to think he is hot. That is all. I took in his appearance. He was wearing tight, black skinny jeans, black boots, a tight black t-shirt with a low v-neck, and a grey beanie, which hid some of his perfect curls. Wow he is wearing such happy colors! Note the sarcasm. Although it did look good on him.
He gave me a big smile as I came closer to him, showing off his dimples.
"Morning." I mumbled. I didn't know how to speak or act around him. He is clouding my thoughts.
"You look beautiful." His low, raspy voice said as my heart skipped a beat at his choice of words. No man had ever called me beautiful in my life.
I tried making little eye contact with him as I walked towards the passenger side, him behind me, opening the door for me. Such a gentleman, I thought, but made sure to not tell him that. He helped me get into his car, as it was pretty big, with a low chuckle, and once I was seated he started to help with the seatbelt.
"I am perfectly capable of putting the seatbelt on myself." I said and grabbed it from his hands.
"Just trying to be safe, love." He chuckled again before slamming my door and hopping into his seat. He turned the car on, and as soon as he did, loud, screaming, music came blasting from the speakers. My hands shot up to my ears as I winced.
"Sorry." He mumbled before turning it down, so that you could hardly heart it.
After a few minutes of awkward silence, and me starring out of the window, I finally decided to speak.
"Why did you insist on driving me to school today?" I asked, still keeping my eyes at the window.
"Dunno." He quickly replied, tapping his long fingers against the steering wheel. Wow Harry, please do not be so specific, I can hardly keep up with your explanation. I finally turned my head so I could see him. He was looking straight ahead. I starred at the tattoos on his arms.
"It is not polite to stare, Isabella." He snapped. Wow. Full name.
"I was just looking at your tattoos." I replied, softly.
"You mean admiring?" He smirked. Ha. Good one.
"You wish." I rolled my eyes. "Why do you have so many, if you do not mind me asking?" I didn't want to stop talking to him, partly because I couldn't bare the awkward silence that we were in before, and also because his voice was nice, soothing. Even when he was sort of pissed.
"I don't." He said. "And because I like them, I guess."
"Do they all mean something?" I asked and he pursed his lips.
"Most of them, yes."
"Well which one means the most to you?" I asked again, hoping I wasn't being too nosey.
"You ask many questions...but that is for me to know and you to find out." He turned to me and winked. Oh. There was the heart flutter again.
"What do you want from me?" The question rolled off of my lips, not giving me time to think about what I was asking. I bit my lip as I waited for his response. We had finally arrived at the school parking lot, but neither of us made a move.
"What do you think I want from you?" He sighed, turning to fully face me.
"I think you want something that I am not willing to give you. And I think you are just wasting your time." I truthfully stated.
"Mhhmm.." Was all he responded with before getting out of the car and making his way towards my door. Okay? I didn't know what to think as I got out of his car.
"I will see you in English." He quickly said before leaning against his car, and pulling out a pack of cigarettes and his lighter. I wanted to tell him that he was not allowed to smoke on school grounds but bit my tongue. "Sure" I replied before leaving him and making my way towards the school.
There was 10 minutes before first period, so I had some time to grab my books from my locker. I wonder if Harry was going to his first period class, but I shook the thought out of my head since I did not care. I repeated the last four words in my head over and over again as I dragged my feet across the hallway, and into first period.
