Jenna's POV-
I sat on the bus that evening while everyone else was gone. Jess had to leave for an interview but she promised to come back. I was listening to music, when a band called Take Six came on.
I was listening to their song Take Down, and I liked it.
You've gotta let it go
Oh, don't you know
Oh, you gotta let it go
Come on, it's not that hard
You've got all these walls up
You've got all these trip ups
But that's okay
Cause I do too
Let it go whoa
Whoa oh oh whoa
They reminded me of me when I was in high school.
I heard a knock on the door. "Come in." I said. Jess walked in.
"Sorry about that." she said. "I completely forgot."
"It's okay." I said. "Have you heard of Take Six?"
"Yeah, they're on this tour."
"Really?"
"Yeah. They covered one of your songs."
"Which one?"
"Breakdown."
"Cool!"
"Everyone's talking about them."
"How old are they?"
"15 and 16."
"They're really good. I just listened to one of their songs."
"Pete Wentz signed them. Their bus is next to ours and Brian is fan girling."
I laughed. "Fan girling?"
"Or, fan boying." she laughed. "So why did you get kicked out?" she asked.
"They found out." I said. "They found out that I like girls."
Yep. Management found out that I liked girls, and they kicked me out. How did they find out, exactly? It's something that I don't like to talk about.
She listened. "That's it?"
"Yeah. I like boys too."
"That's stupid that they kicked you out just because of that. I mean, if you punched Camm then yeah they'd kick you out. But seriously."
"Seriously." I said. "It's stupid."
"Ah, don't let it get to you. Weren't you going to go solo anyway?"
"Just work on my songs and stuff." I said.
"See?"
"But I might go back to school."
She smiled. "That's a good dream."
"So how's it going with you and Caroline?" I asked. "Wait, I already asked that didn't I?"
She laughed. "You asked how she was doing. I guess it's going okay. She just....." tears filled her eyes. "Sorry."
"It's alright." I said, scooting closer to her. "Do you want to talk about it?"
