CHAPTER SEVEN:{Edited}

~Mariana's. POV~

I look around and all I can see are rogues everywhere surrounding us and closing in. The main thought running through my head right now is 'RUN!'

I look over to find Jackson, Rosie, and the twins along with the rest of our pack fighting off as many rogues as possible. I run along with Christian to join in on helping to protect his packs territory. I look over and see a rogue not fighting but observing as if to learn our fighting techniques I start toward the rogue only to be stopped in my tracks by four more.

I smile at their cockiness and start by knocking the first three unconscious and side kick the fourth in the head making him blackout as well. When I turn around toward my original destination the rogue is no longer standing there and is smiling across the field at me as if to say we will be back.

~Christians POV~

It's as if they'd come out of nowhere we don't have as many deaths as the rogues do but I do notice a couple that I have known my whole life, and they have two kids one year apart one is two years old and one is a one year old, laying dead on the ground how could someone be so heartless this I could never understand.

I look around for Mari breathing a sigh of relief when I see her talking with the alpha and betas of her pack. I walk over to them to see how many they lost out of their pack and how many were injured.

I call the pack doctor to come and patch up the wounded and transport the deceased for their prep for a proper burial.

When I look at Mari I notice she is swaying a little and I start to get alarmed "Mariana are you OK?" I ask in a concerned voice.

She barely nods before I catch her from falling to the ground completely. Everyone has concerned looks on their faces and I mind link the pack doctor "Amari come to the backyard immediately!" I yell into her mind an alpha order she can't object to.

"What's the matter alpha she asks looking at me worriedly." I look towards Mariana and Amari gasps. I look at her weirdly when she says "Get her on a flat surface now and when she wakes up make sure to have medical supplies with you."

I look at her weirdly and ask her through the pack link "What's wrong with her will she be ok?"

"Alpha she is having a vision and I have only seen a few in my time who are able to have visions and they are usually descendants of royalty." She says shocking me to death.

"So to answer your question alpha no she is not OK."

~Mariana's POV~

When I come to I am in the middle of a field in a dark forest with fog everywhere. 

'Hello is anyone there?" I ask only to hear an echo in the forest.

Why am I alone out here and where is my family. All of the sudden I hear a branch break between two trees and I see two figures fighting appear in the clearing.

'You. Think you have won princess but this is only the beginning' he says with a smirk on his face and an evil glint in his really dark black eyes.

'You wish Devon but for you this is the end as well as your entire pack of rogues. I KNOW YOUR PLAN DEVON!'  The girl that looks just like me yells before the guy named Devon plunges his sword into the girls stomach her whole face goes pale and her eyes that look just like mine lose their color and she goes limp in the mans arms.

'NO! MARI, NO YOU CAN'T LEAVE ME NOT NOW! I JUST GOT YOU BACK! ' I realize that, that girl is me and the guy is Christian and he is crying over my body as if I mean something to him maybe he meant what he said but he needs to gain my trust before I can ever give him a chance.

I turn my attention back to the man now laying on the ground dead with Jackson, and the twins at his feet with their attention focusing on Christian with my lifeless body in his arms each have tears rolling down their face.

I feel pain in my stomach and feel myself getting pulled into the darkness again.

~Christians POV~

I watch as she comes to and starts creaming from pain that she says is coming from her stomach. Amari starts wrapping her stomach in gauze. And for the first time I notice that my hand is covered in Mari's blood. I try calming her because seeing her like this just kills me. I pray to every great power there is to let her be alright. I don't know what I would do without her, even though she is not technically mine now.

2 hours later...

~Mariana's POV~

I have just been through an hour and a half of searing pain and another half hour of being told I am adopted and a part of royalty. I also found out I am able to have visions which is what caused me the searing pain in my stomach. I am so tired and the last thing I hear before I go to sleep is Christian telling me he's really sorry and he missed me. The last thought I have before I am sucked into darkness is "My life is so freaking messed up right now!" Then everything goes black.

When I woke up I am greeted by chirping birds and bright sunlight coming through the window next to my bed. I look around and see the twins with their heads together sleeping and Jackson and Rosie cuddled on the sofa. My brother and his mate on a chair together asleep and Christian holding my hand with his head on the side of the mattress asleep. Before. I wake them up I think 'well at least I know they care about me more than they used to'

Read on to find out the answers updates will be a little slower from now on my laptop quit so I have to use my iPad. I will update as often as I can with school and other things in the mix I won't have as much time but I will continue to write as often as I can.
