My Mate Rejected Me

Chapter Eighteen:

~RECAP~

"Ok it looks like you're having Two boys and one little girl." The doctor says while printing out the image. 

"OMG TRIPLETS!" I look over at Christian and notice he has the same expression I had on my face a second ago fear. shock, and happiness. 

I wipe the jelly off of my stomach and grab Christian's hand and head home. This should be a fun next few weeks. Babies here we come.

CHAPTER EIGHTEEN: 

~MARIANNA'S POV~

 TWO WEEKS LATER

I wake up beside my handsome and loving mate. I stare at him and think of how things have changed in the last few months. I got my real family back as well as added some, I now have two toddlers which I love to death. And now I'm engaged and have three little pups on the way. I am so happy to have the one's I love so close to me.

Christian starts to move around, and this is my clue that he is waking up. I lay down facing him and wait for him to turn over. 

~CHRISTIAN'S POV~

I am waking up from a good nights sleep and I turn over to find my beautiful mate looking at me with love and adoration in her eyes. I love her so much words can't describe. I feel like an idiot for letting her go almost four years ago. I put my hand on her cheek and tell her "I know you're awake I can hear your thoughts ya know." I say with a smile on my face.

We're both getting very excited the pups can be born anyday now. I can tell Mari's scared that it's going to hurt. I would be to if I was a female and had to push three small people out of me. Overall though I can tell she is just ready for them to be here so she can hold them and love on them; more than she already does.

We have been busy setting up the nursery for the past few days, but we finally go it finished last night. Marianna has only seen the nursery partially finished so now when she walks in it's a whole new place.

Jackson, Jace, Jake, Felix, and I did most of the heavy lifting along with a few other members of both the packs. Rosie, Stacy, and a few of the other mated women came to help with getting everything where we thought Marianna would want it. Rosie left the clothes out so Marianna can put them up where she wants them. 

The room has white walls with strips of blue and green with white in between them going around the room. The only part of the room that doesn't have these strips is my princess's little corner it has blue flowers painted on the wall and she has a great view of outside from the window behind her crib.

The cribs one is yellow for my baby girl, and the other two are blue for my boys. I can't wait to be a dad I want to be able to watch them grow and continue to see the love in Marianna's eyes when she watches them grow to. I can't wait for the future. there is a chocolate colored rug in the middle of the room between the three cribs that are in a semi circle. There are two blue chairs with white throw pillows and the floor is a white carpet. I just want to go in there and be able to hold my babies and show them, the love they deserve.

I still can't get Devon's words out of my head. 'I will bring you down Christian and I'd watch your little mate Marianna to you wouldn't want anything happening to her or your pups would you now?' I know Mari can tell somethings bothering me but I don't want to stress her out. We have a surprise planned for Marianna today, and I really hope she likes it.

"C'mon babe the pack and I have a surprise for you." I say earning a questioning look from Mari. I laugh and say "just come on and dress comfy." lately she has been kind of moody so I know I have to sweeten her up so I lean in and kiss her then add. "I'm going to leave so you can get dressed I'll be back to take you to your surprise. I love you Mari." I say before leaving without giving her a chance to reply.
