*RECAP*

Looking around she looks back at me nods her head and says the one word that makes this the most happiest day of my life so far next to finding out Mari was pregnant of course. "Yes, Yes Christian I will marry you." I jump up put the ring on her finger and spin her in my arms. Putting her down I crash my lips to hers and make a promise to her through the bond we have together. 'I love you so much Mariana, i will do whatever it takes to keep you and our pups safe including Maria and Max who I already count as my own.' Her smile grows and she says back 'I LOVE YOU TOO CHRISTIAN.'

The rest of the day is fun and perfect once we are home and in bed , I feel relieved I wasn't going to let Mariana go without a fight again and now shes mine forever. I am right where I want to be

'DITTO WOLF-MAN.' I HEAR IN MY MIND RIGHT BEFORE WE FALL ASLEEP IN EACH OTHERS ARMS WITH HUGE SMILES ON OUR FACES MY RING SPARKLING IN THE MOONLIGHT OFF OF HER LEFT HAND RING FINGER. MY WORLD IS PERFECT.

CHAPTER SIXTEEN:

 ~CHRISTIAN'S POV~

It has been several weeks since Mariana and I had announced the baby and, she said yes to my proposal. I am so happy right now I feel like I'm floating on cloud nine. But of course there always has to be something there to bring you down from your happy state of mind.

We have been having trouble with rouges on our boarders and it's really starting to bug me. I feel as if I should know who is behind all of this but I don't. I want everyone to be safe. My fiancé (I just love saying that), and our pups included. I can tell Mariana is getting upset because I'm spending more time working with Alpha duties than I am with her. I have now explained to her what is going on and lets just say she was less than thrilled to know I was keeping something this big from her.

******FLASHBACK*******

"Hey babe can I talk to you in my office for a minute please?" I ask her through our bond.

"Sure what is it sweetheart?" She asks with a curious tone in her voice. I smile knowing I'm going to get yelled at but I find it really sexy when she's angry.

“You know I can hear you WOLF-MAN what am I going to be angry about this time huh?” She asks with an edge to her voice. I see her appear at my office door and I smile to myself getting ready for my mates wrath. 

"Did you leave your clothes laying in the bathroom floor again?" She asks, because our last fight was all because I left my shorts laying on the floor next to the hamper. And, I swear I laid them on top of the hamper, they must have just fallen. Needless to say, I was on laundry duty for a week. Of course that was after I told her laundry was supposed to be her job anyway. I will never make that mistake again. Believe you me. You do not want to see a pissed off pregnant she-wolf. It's terrifying, and I didn't know how terrifying until that day.
