"why don't you get namjoon to be your date?"
"there is no way i'm doing that."
i rolled my eyes at yunmi who waved her wedding invitations in my face. she thought it would be a great idea to visit me at the workshop when i wanted nothing more than to be alone. plus, even if i had to take a date to the wedding, i would personally never take namjoon.
"he hasn't even called me in three weeks."
within being in japan for nearly a month, namjoon only managed to call me four times but after that i hadn't heard from him. the first few calls used to be long but because of his schedule, he could only manage to stay on call for less than a minute. i couldn't really bring my self to be mad at namjoon though. this was his life and i respected that but i admit that i really longed to talk to him even if it was for a minute.
"seems like you miss him. or maybe you even like him." yunmi smirked, her eyes avoiding mine.
i scoffed at her statement. "i care about my job and if i'm being easily forgotten then i might lose it. so technically i'm missing doing work."
"oh please you're like the laziest person going, if you could pick sleep over this job then we all know what you'd most likely pick but i'm getting the feeling that namjoon also likes you. he has pictures of you on his computer, he posted a picture of you with a lame ass caption and he ran after you after that incident with mitti. it takes a real man to do that." yunmi was nearly on the edge of her seat with her 'great' analysing.
"it's mitsu and i think he just likes me as a co-worker but i understand if it's the other way. i mean look at me, my hips don't lie."
"no just no. anyways, i think this is a great opportunity to say SORRY BUT i already invited namjoon to my wedding and asked him to be your date. thank me later."
"you did WHAT?" i dramatically stood from my seat ready to punch the shit out of my sister. namjoon is the type of guy to easily misunderstand the whole situation and think that i asked my sister to personally ask him to be my date. he's never gonna let me hear the end of this.
"i did some serious research and his tour finishes three days before my wedding so he can make it."
"do you even think? i could get seriously roasted by his fans for being his date. nobody wants to see their 'opparr!' with another girl you dumb ass. yunmi you've put me in the riskiest situation."i huffed.
"chill just chill. it's in a private area with a bunch of oldies who know nothing about kpoop so it's all good. just be thankful that i got you a date."
just then, my phone beeped.
