"i'm back!"
namjoon burst through the door of the workshop with gleam but immediately sighed and rolled his eyes as he noticed areum sleeping on his chair with her mouth wide open, not to mention she was drooling.
namjoon gently set his bags down and walked up to her. he smiled at how peaceful areum looked whilst sleeping before screaming in her ear in hopes to wake her up but she was a deep sleeper. areum slept through all the noise namjoon made just to get her to wake up. he even began rapping to danger with his dong dong diggy dong dong part which made all the ladies swoon.
it wasn't long after namjoon gave up when areum woke up.
"you're back?" she mumbled, rubbing her eyes as she saw namjoon in the corner of the room playing the kendall and kylie jenner game.
"i was back two hours ago you hoe." namjoon snapped.
"don't start on me."
namjoon laughed at her reply before standing up and walking over to her.
"get up. we're going out for ice-cream and all you need to do is take cute pictures of me."
and with that the two began walking into the neighbourhood in silence whilst areum fiddled with her camera to make sure namjoon wouldn't talk to her. she was so confused as to how namjoon was keeping his cool when she was practically freaking out.
namjoon had unexpectedly posted a picture of her on his instagram with a fluffy ass caption and not to mention the folder on his computer with pictures of her. is this what guys did? do nice things that made you feel all weird then pretend nothing happened?
to heck with it, areum couldn't really bring up the conversation about his folder on his computer since she'd probably be dead if he found out that she went anywhere near it but it wouldn't be too hard to ask about the picture on his instagram.
"hey about that picture on your inst-"she flinched back, unable to finish her question as namjoon shouted 'ice cream' upon seeing the van nearby. namjoon had hoped that she wouldn't ask that question so he was willing to do anything to avoid that conversation.
he ran towards the van, already ordering an ice-cream for himself. areum sighed and ran after him to the van where he began posing for pictures. whilst areum took the shots, she thought it would be okay to attempt to ask about the picture again since she was curious.
"listen about your insta-"areum was unable to ask her question once again as she found herself watching namjoon getting into a deep conversation with the ice-cream man. he was being such a dickhead and he only bought ice-cream for himself which was just mean.
namjoon noticed how moody areum was being throughout the rest of the day after that. she was being blunt and taking pictures of him without the enthusiasm she always had and he knew she was mad since he wouldn't answer her question but namjoon's pride was hanging on a thread right now and saying something cheesy could possibly be the end.
towards the end of the day, areum and namjoon sat on a park bench to take a break for a while but areum was still being blunt. even the ice-cream namjoon eventually bought for areum to make her feel better was no use since that was the flavour she was allergic to.
namjoon groaned loudly as he ran his hands through his hair. he did not know how to deal with women.
"listen,"he began. areum now faced him with a look of confusion as he sat there closing his eyes with his hands placed around his heart. she rolled her eyes at him. what a drama queen.
"i only posted that picture because you looked um nice i guess." namjoon finished his sentence, releasing a sigh of relief. he looked up to areum who had the same blank expression on her face.
from that point on, namjoon knew he had completely screwed it up. the excuse was rubbish and he acknowledged that it wasn't the proper answer areum would have wanted to hear but he couldn't help but be a nervous wreck around her.
he began to panic a little and grabbed the unopened ice-cream from her hand. "i'll buy you another one. maybe one that you're not allergic to. ha ha. okay bye."
