***Antonio Dawson's POV***

"How could you lose her?" Voight screams in my face.

I feel like I'm about to break down and cry. Arbor is gone and it's all my fault. I should've gone in the room with her. I should've insisted even though she didn't want me to. It's my fault and I feel like shit because of it. The ache in my stomach won't go away and the nagging urge to vomit everywhere won't go away. My heart is beating so fast and I feel so light headed. My hands are trembling in my pockets. My forehead is beaded with sweat.

"Dawson!" Voight yells again, pulling me out of my thoughts. "Pay attention for fuck's sake!"

"W-what?" I stammer, my voice hoarse from the dryness of my throat.

Voight rolls his eyes and crosses his arms. "Get out of my fucking sight. You're on patrol until we find my daughter."

I don't argue. I simply walk out of the hospital and to my car. The only thing that runs through my mind is all the places that Arbor could possibly be.

Once I'm at the unit, I ascend up the steps into the unit and the front desk where I am greeted with sad looks from Burgess, Roman and Platt.

"How're you doing, Antonio?" Burgess asks, lightly placing her hand on my shoulder.

I sigh and look at her. "I'm the reason Arbor has been kidnapped. How do you think I'm doing?"

"It's not your fault Dawson. How were you to know that some lunatic who happens to work at Chicago Med was working with Arbor's ex-boyfriend to kidnap her?" Roman insists, trying to pull the blame from me.

Burgess nods in agreement with him. "Sean's right, Antonio." She whispers as she gazes at me with large, kind eyes.

"Thanks guys." I mumble then turn to Trudy. "I'm going to take some time off. Voight's kicked me from the case and I'm not going to be able to do any work successfully until we find her."

"I understand." Trudy informs me with deep sincerity in her voice. "You know where to find me if you ever need anything." She whispers gently.

I nod. "Thank you." I whisper back, giving all my effort to keep myself from breaking down. Then walk out and back to my car.

As I walk back, I notice a note on my car. I grab it quickly and scramble to open the note book paper.

When I do the note reads: Got you.

Then, out of no where. I'm grabbed and pulled into what I assume is a van because I'm thrown into the back and I hear the sliding door slam shut.

"What the fuck?" I scream but am silence when I feel someone's hands around my throat and two more people holding my arms down.

"Now you listen to me, Antonio." A deep voice growls. I'm confused by the fact that it's not Daniel's. "You're going to stay nice and quiet while we take you to Daniel."

This guy is an idiot. I'm keeping count of how many turns and which direction we are taking.

"Good." The guy growls when I don't respond. "You're pathetic." He chuckles and tightens his grip on my neck. "You think you can just steal the love of Daniel's life and get away with it?"

I can feel myself getting lighter as I'm on the verge of passing out. I'm shaking, trying to get some air into my lungs.

"Come on, lay off of him. You're going to kill him before Daniel can!" A girl shouts from the driver's seat.

The guy sighs and let's go of my neck. I breathe in and am sent into a coughing spell.

"You're such a pussy." The guy laughs as I fight to breathe through the coughs.
