***Arbor Alexander's POV***

I step out of the salon, nails freshly painted and feet freshly soaked. It feels amazing to be out with Erin, but I don't know where I'm going next.

"So what's going on now?" I ask her  as we walk through the parking lot to her car.

She throws her aviators on and shrugs. "I'm taking you to your next stop for the day."

"Which is?" I stare at her, hoping my stare will make her say something.

She scoffs a laugh. "I'm not telling you. You'll see when you get there."

I roll my eyes and open the passenger side door. "Fine." I say before I get into the car and pull the seat belt across my body. It's getting pretty damn annoying not knowing what's going on, but it's pretty exciting too. I'm one lucky girl to have a man like Antonio who plans a random day out for me and pays for all of it.

"So how's the new place?" Erin asks as she puts the car in drive and pulls out of  the parking lot.

I look both ways as we approach the street. "It's great, actually. I love it so much. It's so big for the both of us, but hopefully we'll be able to fill the space."

"Are you thinking kids?" Erin's voice raises a couple of octaves.

I roar with laughter. "No!" I chuckle at her reaction to the thought of me having kids. "First of all, I can't have kids. Second of all, I'm talking about getting a pool table or something!" I keep laughing through my words, secretly wanting to cry. I would love to have kids with Antonio, but that's not going to happen.

Erin bites her lip to keep her smile under control. "You guys have Eva and Diego to worry about anyways."

"Yeah, when we can get them." I sigh. "Laura doesn't like them coming around, but they love our new place. They've been over a couple of times. It still kills Antonio that he can't have his own kids when he wants them."

"Yeah, that would suck." Erin admits. "Good thing he has you." She smirks.

"Hey!" I push her playfully. "What's that suppose to mean?"

"You're more kid than I'd ever want to handle in my lifetime." Erin jokes.

I roll my eyes. "You're twice as bad as me and don't even try to deny it!" I mumble and pull out my phone to check the time. It's 11 a.m. now and I'm curious as to where my next stop is.

"I think once the shit storm from the divorce has settled down Laura will let Antonio see the kids a lot more." Erin says as she drums her fingers on her steering wheel.

I put my phone back in my pocket. "I don't know. They've been divorced for almost two years and she's still such a fucking prude about the kids. It irritates me so much because Antonio is one of the best damn fathers a kid could ask for and Laura is trying to break the bond he has with his kids. She was better about him seeing them when I was in the hospital, but that was a couple of weeks and he got to see them 3 times a week."

"It's a start." Erin states softly, her voice rough.

"Are you okay?" I ask. She sounds like she's about to break down and cry.

"Uh.." she pauses and looks at me. "Yeah." She says, unconvincingly.

I press my lips into a line. Erin hates when people push her to tell her what's going on, but I should get her to talk to me. She deserves to vent. "Just tell me. I promise I'll keep my lips sealed."

Erin doesn't take her eyes off the road. "It's your day. I'm not going to ruin it."

"Tell me." I state firmly, my voice sounding venomous. "Now."
