- Hey guys!! I know it's been awhile since I really updated!! But here's a pretty nice update!! I hope you like it!!! :)
***Antonio Dawson's POV***
"Hey, thanks for meeting me." I say to my sister, Gabby, as I extend my arms out and wrap her tiny torso into a hug. "You've really got some guns now." I chuckle and grab her bicep. Ever since she became a firefighter she's really getting some muscle.
She smiles and tucks a strand of dark brown hair behind her ear. "No problem, bro." She tells me as we sit down at the small café table. "So what's up?"
I inhale deeply and pull the small velvet box out of my pocket. Sitting it on the table, I watch Gabby's reaction.
She look at the box and then grins widely up at me. "No way." She exhales. "You're going to ask her!"
I nod eagerly. "I figured there's no better way to celebrate her remission than with a wedding."
Gabby puts her hands up on the table and crosses her arms in front of her. "This is great. I'm so happy for you, Antonio. Arbor is going to be so surprised. She isn't going to know what hit her."
"I know." I smile. "I have no idea how I want to do it yet though. She's amazing and I want to make it perfect."
"So that's where I come in?" Gabby asks. Damn, she's smarter than I thought.
"Exactly." I smile at her. "I was thinking proposing at Molly's or something."
Gabby rolls her eyes and shakes in disapproval. "Why would you ever say that? Proposing at a bar? A fire house bar? No way. Arbor's way classier than a bar."
"You're a partial owner in that bar!" I object, kind of hurt by the fact that Gabby shot down my idea so quickly.
"Bro, you don't want to propose in a bar. It's trashy." Gabby chuckles.
"Well what do you have in mind?" I ask, waiting to hear a better idea.
"Well," Gabby leans forward. "Since Arbor is officially cancer free, throw her a remission party and propose there."
I bite my lip now to suppress my grin. "You're a romantic, Gabriella." I smile and nod my head in approval. "I'll throw her a party this weekend. Make sure the whole unit has off."
"You do realize you have to ask Voight." Gabby's voice hardens at the mention of Voight.
My stomach twists at the thought. "Yeah, I know. I'm dreading it. He's either going to be thrilled or want to castrate me."
Gabby giggles at my comment. "At least you guys can't have anymore kids. I think two is enough for you guys."
"Yeah," I sigh sadly. "I don't need anymore kids, but Arbor's only 30 and hasn't had any kids."
"Do you know if she ever wanted kids?"
I sigh. "I think she did, but now she can't and it breaks my heart."
"I have an idea." Gabby's smile widens as she leans forward and tells me something so great, it's sure to blow Arbor away.

***Arbor Alexander's POV***
"So how does it feel to be a free woman?" Erin asks as we sit down on the couch to watch the latest episode of our favorite soap opera.
I look at her and smile, taking in her appearance. She's one of my best friends now and she's drop dead gorgeous with her shoulder-length hair and thin face.
