Dylan cursed then restarted again his game. He and his best buddy, Lucas had been playing for about an hour now in an internet shop not far from their University.

"Hey I haven't seen KC lately. Did you guys got into a fight??" Lucas asked, his eyes on the computer monitor.

Dylan shrugged. He doesn't want to think about it. He focus on his newly started game and strategize.

Lucas tapped him hard and tugged his headset.

"Hey!! I asked you a question.." Lucas said grinning. "LQ??"

"Can't you tell that I preferred not to answer?? I'm playing."Dylan snapped and grabbed his headset back and put it on.

"Speaking of the angel," Lucas muttered as KC walked inside the internet shop and scanned the crowd. Her eyes met with Lucas and she waved.

Shit! Dylan cursed as he saw her too sauntering to their corner. Dylan jumped from his seat.

"Luc! I'm going ahead," Dylan said wryly as he hastily grabbed his bag and headed to the counter.

"Hi Lucas,"KC greeted then looked at Dylan next. "Dylan...."she started hesitantly.

Dylan ignored her and continue to pay. He exited as soon as he paid and walk run to the train station. HE wasn't in the mood right now to talk to her. She was the one who avoided him in the first place. God after that "time", he hadn't seen KC at their house nor at his room. He wasn't stupid. He even thought that he may have locked his window by mistake hindering KC to get in but that was just denying the truth. It had put a dent on their friendship. He had tried talking to her but she refuses his attempt.

And its not even his fault!! Any normal male would have done the same thing if you found a girl at your bed!

He hopped on the next train who stopped by.Someone tugged at his shirt.

"Dylan... please talk to me..." KC begged.

Jesus. KC got on the train too.

"Wow. Now you're talking to me??!" he said sarcastically garnering the passenger's attention.

"I'm sorry Dylan.... Something came up and I sorted some important things and..."

"You know what? You don't need to explain. Just get off on the next train station. I'm heading to my part time job."Dylan answered not meeting her eyes.

KC grabbed his arm. "I'll wait for you Dylan.... Please.I don't want to lose you."

His heart softened But then again, she don't want to lose him as what as her bestfriend??

They got off on the next train station. KC following silently beside him.

"My shifts four hours. You'll get bored," he muttered.

"It's okay. I'm willing to wait. And I brought my laptop. I'll play there," KC answered back.

Dylan doesn't want her to be there. She'll just distract him but she's too stubborn. She rarely does what others tell her. Dylan had been working as a part time barista for three weeks now on a coffee shop three stations away from their town hoping to save up enough money to buy KC's gift as her birthday is coming up.

KC thank God had chosen a booth in the corner and went to spent her time waiting in silence after she ordered her favorite frappe.

Dylan became jittery as his shift came closer to an end. He doesn't want to admit but this confrontation with KC had been nagging on his mind. Had she come to tell him that she valued their friendship more and she doesn't want to entertain the thought of having a serious relationship with him??

Dylan went to the staffroom to change his work clothes. As he was putting on his shirt the staffroom door opened and the owner's daughter went in. He stopped for a moment.

"I'm sorry Ms Tiffany but are you looking for something?" Dylan asked fully aware that Tiffany was staring at his bare chest.

Tiffany went closer and Dylan knew what she had in mind. "Dylan. Dylan. Dylan. Don't play games," she chided."I know you know why I came here..." she whispered.

Damn. Dylan wasn't good at rejecting girls. He was about to put his hands on her shoulders to turn her away but for the second time the staffroom door opened again and there stood KC.

"Please don't touch him." KC said clearly.

Tiffany arched her brows. She raised her hands and planted them on Dylan's chest. Dylan hold Tiffany's hand firmly. "KC, what are you doing inside the staffroom?" Dylan growled.

"Please don't touch her," KC pleaded to Dylan this time. There was a stark pain obviously in her eyes. Dylan wanted to rejoice. That he can make KC jealous was something.

"KC wait for me outside. I....."Dylan said and stopped.

KC had already left. When Dylan went out of the coffee shop KC was already gone. He went to KC's house only to find out that she wasn't alone. Luis "asshole" Harvey was with her, in her room giving her comfort. She was fast wasn't she?? And she told him that she doesn't want to hang out with him and here they were hugging like a couple. He left seething.
