He Got Me

We Are Here!!!

I flutter my eyes open. It looks like I fell asleep on Blake cause his arm is wrapped around my and we're in a cuddling position.

I begin to shiver cause I'm suddenly cold.

"You cold?" Blake asks

"Yes" I say in a sleepy voice.

"Here" he gives me is comfortable sweatshirt to put on. Man this thing is cozy. Once I put it on, it looks big on me.

"Thanks, Blake." I say

I curl up into a ball and he brings me closer to him. He kisses the top of my head.

"How long have we been on the plane?" I ask

"A while"

Ugh. Can't we just get there already?

"Wake me up when we are there." I say.

I put my ear buds in to block out the noises.

*** An hour later (Hawaii)***

" Hey, wake up sleeping beauty." Blake shakes me.

"What"

"We are finally here."

"What time is it?" I ask

"About 2 am" he says. "I promise you can sleep when we get there."

"Can you carry me?" I wine

"No." He laughs "I can't carry you and the bags."

We begin to go through air port stuff again and everything. We are finally walking out of the airport. We had to rent a jeep. I like jeeps. They are fun.

We put our bags in the bag and start going to the hotel. The scenery here is so beautiful. You can barley see anything but looking off into the ocean and seeing all the plants. Its just so beautiful. I don't wanna leave even though we just got here.

I see this tall building. There is a large pool in the front and a swim up bar. There is a huge sign in the front saying "Hawaii Island Inn".

***15 minutes later***

This room is huge. There are roses on the bed. A little card from the hotel people. I walk out onto the balcony and just look off.

"So, do you like it?" Blake asks

"No" I say

"Huh?"

"I don't like it. I love it."

After looking around I go change. Wow, blake really did buy me things. Cute things until I see a thong.

"Really blake."

"Haha what?"

"The thong"

"Hahaha. It was a joke but it doesn't matter if you were it. Totally fine by me."

"Get over yourself."

I walk out in my sweatpants and a T-shirt. I climb into bed facing Blake. He look at each other them burst out laughing. I don't know but we do that sometimes. I reach up and give him a couple kisses on the lips and then I turn around to where my back is against him. He wraps his arm around my waist and pulls me to him.

I can't fall asleep for some reason. I get out of bed and walk outside to the balcony and just sit. I look out intl the ocean and just watch as the waves crash against the rocks and watch as the water rolls up onto the land.

I watch as the moon light hits the ocean making it sparkel. After a few seconds of thinking, I am pulled out of my thoughts by the sound of my phone going off. I look at my phone and tears begin to fall.

Tanner, I'm sorry to say this but your dad just found out he has lung cancer. I don't want to ruin your trip. He's fine for the time being. I just wanted you to be aware. -mommy.

I just sit there. Not believing what just happened. I begin to cry. Why did he have to be the one who got cancer. Why not dome other guy?!

I sot there with my head in my knees just crying. I hear the door open. I look up to find Blake staring at me with a concern look.

"Tanner? What's wrong? What's goin on?"

I just look up at him.

"Baby, what's wrong?"

"My daddy has cancer."

He just stands there. He sit in the chair next me and just holds his arms out. I walk over to him and sit in his lap. I bury my head in his neck. He just rocks me back a fourth. I feel my self fall asleep.
