AGE FOURTEEN
You snuck out the guild, even though your mother said your not aloud to because you were grounded. You this feeling in your gut saying you shouldn't have done this and that your dead meat when your mother finds out, but your 14-year-old mind is saying to do it.
You didn't go far, you just went to the park to get a breather. You sat on the bench, enjoying the breeze the afternoon gave.
An hour and a half passed; you decided that it was time for you head back before you heard the voice of your demon mother screaming your name.
"[Name]!! Get over here!"
'Welp...I'm dead...' You thought before being forcefully yanked in the arm by Erza.
Coming face to face to her, you see her brown orbs give off every emotion. Rage, fright, worry.
Your eyes were bloodshot, your pupils shrinking to the size of a grain of rice.
"How dare walk out the guild! I told you not too, but you did it anyway, being the disobedient child you are!"
Your bottom lip quivered, in fear. It was true, you were scared of your mother when she angry, but your fear only now just worsen.
"You knew better than to do this! Why?!" Was her question to you.
Why? Why did you go outside? Why did you decide to disobey your mothers order?
You didn't know.
Finally able to turn your gaze away, you mumbled a, "I don't know..."
"Excuse me?"
"I don't know." You said louder, trying to make voice firm, but failed miserably.
"You don't know? What kinda pathetic excuse is that?" She snapped. Her eyes were hissing rage.
You only shrugged your shoulders, having the thought that words would only anger her more.
She merely sigh, letting go of your now bruised arm.
"A-are you mad at me?" You managed to say, holding the arm with the discoloration.
"No-" her seemed to calm down a octave. A some-what wave of relief seemed to wash over you.
"-I'm just disappointed." Then the wall crumbled.
Your face fell, the color no longer visible by the naked eye.
She was...disappointed in you.
That was probably the worst day of your life.
The tears sprang to your eyes and cascaded down your cheeks to the side walk.
Your shoulders fell like the tears in your eyes. A sob escape your throat, feeling a lump form.
Erza turned back, seeing your pitiful state and felt the guilt.
She now regretted yelling at you; you were sensitive and she knew it.
This hit her harder than it hit you.
