Do You Got Room For One More Troubled Soul....

We woke up the next morning. My eyes were puffy from crying. I got up and went to brush my teeth. When I came back into the room. Cayla was awake. "Morning." She said
"Morning." I said back
"How you doing?"
"Um. I'm okay? I guess. I just don't want to see him for a while. And I don't want to go to school." I said
"I'm sure u don't. But what so what do u want to do today?" Cayla said.
"I'm not sure. But I'm gonna shower first. Well figure it out when I get out." I said.
I got into the shower. And then got out and got dressed. A band shirt with a flannel some black leggings and my black converse with some bracelets and a beanie.
"I think I'm alive" I said.
"Haha. Good. Because I think today's a girls day." Cayla said.
Cayla got dressed and we walked to her house which wasn't not to far away from mine. Cayla and I have our driving permit. We got into the car and drove to the mall. We looked around. Around lunch time we went to the food court and got some pizza and soda. And....... Then my ex Oliver walked in. "Why isn't he at school?" I asked.
"Look who's talking" Cayla said.
"Haha. I know. But like why? He's alone. So u think he's getting someone?" I asked curiously
"I don't know, maybe he is, maybe he isnt." Cayla said. He was coming towards us. "Hey Shelby. How are you?" Oliver asked.
Oliver was my first high school boyfriend. I was a freshman and he was a sophomore. He was great. He wasn't afraid to express his feelings. And got along with all my friends. We always talked and held hands during lunch. Even during the summer, he would spend the night at my house. ((Not I a gross way people)) and one time we had a cook out and we were cleaning of the porch and spraying water on it with the water hose. And we ended up having a water fight. And then one night, we were watching a movie, his phone kept going off. So I decided to check it. And it was some girl named Becky. That's the night I found out he was cheating on me. The text messages were like: "hey babe. I'm here waiting for u. Text me. 😘😘❤❤" I could not believe it. I tuned off the movie and sat on the couch. Oliver came back from the bathroom. And we got into this argument. And we called it quits.
"Oh hey Oliver, Im doing fine and you?" I said
"I'm doing okay." He said.
"Oh. So, what brings you here today?" I asked
"Oh you know, just hanging out." He said.
"Meeting anyone?" I asked
"No. Hey, u. Do u think we could talk. Alone?" Oliver asked.
"Cayla? Do you mind?" I asked her
"No go ahead. I'll be here." She said
"Thanks Cay" I said. Oliver and I walked off.
"So Shelby, how's life?" He asked me
I felt so small walking next to him. Oliver was taller than me. "Um its okay. I guess. How about yours?" I said.
"Same. Um Becky broke up with me " Oliver said. "Oh she did? Aww I'm sorry to hear that." I said.
"Its fine." He said and we kept walking. "Shebly? The reason why I asked you if we could talk alone, was because, well, you see, before I, you know, I really really REALLY liked you. And I was an ass for hurting you. After Becky broke up with me, I started thinking about you. And you see, I never stopped thinking about you. That night Becky text me, I was planning to break it off. Because I realized that we were perfect together. And well, I guess what Im trying to say is. Will you take me back Shelby?"
I stopped walking. And just took in the words Oliver had just said. Yes, I was hurt, but hearing those words come from him, I just could not resist. I REALY REALLY REALLY liked him too. And so my answer was..........
"Yes, Oliver I will take you back!" I hugged him and wrapped my legs around him. And bam! Our lips touched. The last thing on my mind was: "how am I going to break this to Cayla?"
