Chapter XX: Sudden Anxiety

"Oh, god! I missed home!" Landon complained, releasing some sort of pain from the trip. Wonder where they went? That he didn't even get to enjoy. 

I gave him a wide smile, I think he knows what's going to happen. He sensed that I'm going to scoop him in a big hug, I ran up to him making him scram and panic. It's super adorable! 

"Come on Landon, I missed you!" I cheered chasing him around the halls of their home. Our voices echoing in the whole house. He was at the other end of the hallway, shaking his head in fear and after that he let his tongue out.

"I didn't, frog!" He yelled in fright, he totally reminds me of Hemmings. Soon, he'll grow up and be like Hemmings and that'll be the most craziest thing, I cannot even handle one Hemmings what happens if there's two? I laughed at that thought.

"Can you get any weirder? Laughing by yourself." Some sort of voice commented out, I turned my head checking who it was. Of course, Demon.  He was typing something on his phone, his face looked focused.

I stomped on his foot in irritation, "Can you get any creepy? Popping out in all places." I stated with a massive power in my voice, because I stomped on his foot. "And you always have to ruin everything."

We soon ate the best dinner since the day Aunt Liz left, Demon and I haven't ate any decent meal since the day they left us on our own. Worst weeks of my life. I can't even think about it anymore.

"I missed you both! But you both needed it and you know that." Aunt Liz discussed and told us all about their trip and how Landon hated the place because he got rashes and all.

Sitting on the dining table, I tried to reach for the platter in front of Hemmings and he lend it out to me. I grabbed it from him, got myself some more rice. I noticed him staring on my plate, what's his problem?

I looked up to him and furrowed my eyebrows. He bit his lip and had this teasing look on his face. I bet he's trying to hold in the words that'll come out from his mouth. I looked back down my plate since I see Aunt Liz watching us.

Suddenly I felt a pinch on my shoulder, I turned to the person beside me. I finally get his look, he's teasing me on how I eat. On the amount of food, I intake. Ts.

I hooked my hair back on my ears and ignored him, I started eating again like I haven't ate at all. 

"I see you guys really get along, it's just amazing!" Aunt Liz expressed pressing her hand on her heart for the sudden emotion. I turned to her and smile widely, feeling all guilty inside. 

Hemmings and I will never get a long, no matter what happens. We could get comfortable with each other like he is but we can never get along. We're just not like that.

"Mom, see that painting-" Hemmings blurt out, which grabbed the attention of Aunt Liz. She searched for the painting that Hemmings was pointing out. I smell something fishy, I looked for the painting to.

"Where is it, Luke?" Aunt Liz asked wonder filled her voice and she kept turning her head finding the painting, so did I.

"It's just there." I hear Landon chuckle, suddenly I feel something on my plate move, I cocked my head on my plate and see Hemmings stabbing all the food on his plate putting it on mine.

I slapped his hand off the plate which captured Aunt Liz' attention back on the table. With that Hemmings placed his fingers on my cheeks, pinching it tightly. Giving me a fake smile, I let out a forced laugh as Aunt Liz saw this. Way to go, Hemmings.

"What's with that all of a sudden, baby boy?" Aunt Liz asked curious, putting her fork in her mouth, shocked by Demon's actions. Yeah, kindly explain Lucifer.
