I was walking back to our cabin, it was around 8 in the morning and my body still ached attention. Medical attention.

I see someone on the steps of our cottage just in front of the cottages door, sitting down resting his face on top of his hands.

From the brown hair, jaw structure and his toned skin. I could tell it was Calum, he had sunglasses on and his face was a bit scratched.

"Partied too hard?" I joked deadly and laughed shrugging my shoulders.

I stood in front of him and he stood up brushing his hands on his board shorts.

"Vy," He blurted out in a tensed tone and that broke all the staring I've made. The bruises on his neck. It was scary.

His cheek had some scratches and wounds. What kind of animal scorched him like this? Damn.

"Let's talk." He said again snapping his fingers in front of my fingers trying to gain my attention.

Well that snapped me back to reality, literally.

"Yeah we need to talk. With your glasses off, please." I stated in a bossy tone and was about to tiptoe to reach for his glasses, he immediately dodged my hand.

"Yeah, no need. I look badass, Vy. Don't ruin my moment." He tried making excuses. Like I'm going to buy that.

With a swift move and an unaware Calum, I snatched the Ray Ban off his face. My mouth dropped at the vision of Cal.

"You look like shit." The words slurred out of my mouth, I didn't realize I was stating what I was only suppose to think. "Sorry-" I reached for his arm but he pulled away.

"Thanks Vy." He rolled his eyes with sarcasm, I couldn't help but stare at his black eye. Damn, he looks like a hellhole.

"I'll pretend that I didn't hear that."My eyes widen and I covered my mouth with shock. I said it out loud again.

"God, I'm sorry! I swear, that's not what I think at all!" I defended trying to comfort him. I'm an idiot.

"Thank God, you're damn adorable or I could have smacked you." He kid sticking his tongue out and chuckled to himself.

I pouted at him, why is he so dang sweet? So annoying.

"Planning to get to another fight, huh?!" I challenged and added a tough accent, punching in the air and pretending like I'm some sort of professional boxer.

"Ooh, scary." He rode along and expressed sarcastically. I frowned at his sarcasm and gave him a slight hit on his left shoulder. That made him wince.

Even there? I came up to him and was about to roll up his sleeve to look at his bruise or wound but he pulled away brushing his hand with that bruised arm and placed back his sunglasses.

"Let's talk about this with breakfast?" He asked in a cool tone raising his eyebrows up and down. I wanted to pinch him but I forgot his badly hurt.

"I'll count on that. Give me a sec," I made him wait and I grabbed my favorite jacket in the cabin. Mornings in this resort are pretty cold.

As we all were given the right to eat free from the buffet, I made my way to get everything I want in a blink of an eye.

Calum had his mouth opened with all the plates surrounding my side of the table. I raised my left eyebrow at him.

"Got a problem, Hood?" I asked letting out a British accent, that cheap lessons I got from Kayla. Best summer of life, no doubt.

"Nothing at all, madame." He denied shaking his head, trying to hide his shock and just let out a smirk.
