Chapter VI: Spring-broken

I can finally smell the fresh mansion of The Hemmings once again.

I can't believe it. It felt like years, when I was at the hospital maybe because I had the worst cellmate.

I heard Luke whisper 'finally' once we set foot in the house he immediately left me there.

Yes, I still have my wheelchair but that doesn't stop me. Spring break is almost over. And I wasted it with no legs.

Well the maids are pushing me towards my room. When on earth can I move? This not moving thing is killing me.

After a while I sort of gotten the hang of this wheelchair thing. I can move it myself now. I graduated.

After dinner I was immediately taken to the family room that the Hemmings have. They said aunt Liz needs to talk to us.

As I set foot (I mean wheelchair) into the Family room. Landon kept jumping up and down in thrill.

I never saw him at least 5 feet away from his psp. Well, now he is.

As he kept bouncing while playing the Xbox 360, the ones with shooting and stuff. Luke was also playing with a huge laugh on his face.

Landon was right, there are times that Luke acts different which is in a good way. But somewhat he changes right away.

That's why Landon thinks that teenagers are weird. His brother is really weird.

When they realized I was right behind them, Landon just stared and continued searching for a hiding spot in the game.

Well, when nightmare saw me, his laugh immediately disappeared. I never saw him laugh that big.

He laughs at me in a teasingly way, not like that.

As Aunt Liz saw me, she paused the momentum of the boys.

Both of them complained and tensed up their bean bags.

"Mom, can you hurry we are kind of at the climax of the game" Landon said impatiently. With a matching tap on his left foot.

"This going to take a while since it's about paralyzed's condition" I heard Luke whisper to Landon, Landon pouted to what Luke said.

"Paralyzed paralyzed nye nye" I mimicked. Luke smirked on what I just done.

"Okay, kids, particularly Luke" Aunt Liz started, Luke turned to his mom with his eyebrows furrowed.

"Since we all know Vy's condition, you have to take care of her if she needs something, take her where she needs to go, guard her always" As aunt Liz said that I gave them a huge grin.

"Especially you Luke, you owe this to Vy" Aunt Liz turned to me "If you need something, honey, just feel free to ask Luke, okay?"

Luke frowned immediately, I turned to him nodding.

"No problem, Aunt Liz"

Who's the boss now, Hemmings? Bwahaha.

"You look high,"Luke said in a very dull tone. My face turned red in annoyance.

As soon as aunt Liz left the instruction, the boys turned back to the huge flatscreen, did I mention it was 3d?

They wore their 3d glasses and sat right back down. But they realized something as soon as they stared at the flatscreen.

"Mom, remote" Luke said.

Aunt Liz hesitated with a pout. I laughed.

"Mom, come on!" Luke complained, seems desperate.
