Heya people. Okay, so I have no idea whom Eerika should end up with. Any suggestions? Also, I was going to make a new story, even though I shouldn't, and name it 'Angel Petrova' so if ya wanna check it out...😉 Anyway, love y'all! Thank you for all the support! It means the world to me!
A girl with long, brown hair and tan skin glided towards her siblings.
"Do I not get a hello?"
Her silky voice snapped her family put of their daze, and she was quickly engulfed in bone-crushing hugs from Kol, Elijah, and Rebekah.
"How is this possible?" Rebekah questioned, as she clung to her sister for dear life. Eerika didn't respond, but patted her sister on the back and rubbed soothing circles, trying to calm the blonde down.
Klaus was frozen in shock, staring at his 'dead' best friend with wide and glossy eyes. Eerika straightened up and turned towards Klaus with a cheeky grin.
"What's wrong, Klausy? Cheshire got your tongue?" He replied with a deep chuckle and a shake of his head. The two stared at each other for a few seconds before Klaus sped to her and brought her into a bone-crushing hug.
"I thought I lost you," he whispered in a gentle tone.
"Never," she murmured back, hugging her brother tightly.
Katherine's usual cold and emotionless eyes warmed at the sight of the family reunion, then zoned in on the girl she awoke a few weeks or so ago. Eerika was always a kind girl. In fact, the young Mikealson was her most trusted friend. Eerika was always indescribably compassionate and empathetic towards her. Even after all of the horrible things Katherine had done, Eerika's eyes held nothing but kindness and understanding. The 16-year-old had kept the doppelgänger's whereabouts throughout the years a secret, and, for that, the Petrova had a high respect for the Cailleach witch. Silently dashing out of the room, Katherine glanced back at Eerika with a small, fond smile.
The Salvatore brothers looked at the new arrival with surprise and unsureness. Elena pulled at their sleeves with desperation, seeing this as an opportunity to escape. The brothers eyes hesitantly drifted away from the beautiful original to the pleading girl. "Come on," she whimpered. The Salvatores looked at Eerika once more then sped away.
"How?" Klaus stepped away from his sister, while looking down at her.
"Oh, come on! You seriously thought some silly, little stake could take all this down!" She motioned towards her body with a cheesy grin, then struck a silly pose. The siblings' bright laughter echoed around the mansion. Pointless chatter was the only thing heard for the next few hours.
Rubbing her green eyes tiredly, Eerika looked at her family with a bright smile. "So, my dear brothers and sister, where is my room?" She looked at them expectantly.
"Ria, we didn't know you were ali-" Rebekah started to say before she was interrupted by Klaus. "I'll show you."
Klaus grabbed her hand gently and tugged her towards the stairs. Eerika turned toward the rest of her siblings and tossed them a dramatic air kiss. "Goodnight, my painted roses!" They let out an amused laugh. "Goodnight, our red queen." Eerika's face turned offended, but she had no time to retaliate as Klaus tugged her up the stairs.
"If you don't like it, I can have interior decorators here first thing in the morning," the hybrid reassured nervously. The witch rolled her eyes and shoved his shoulder lightly. He opened the door and a smile lit up her faced. The walls were a light peach with quotes painted on the surface. The queen size bed was made with a simple, white comforter and fluffy pillows. A small book shelf was pushed in the corner. The girl traced her finger along the spines of the Emily Dickinson, Shakespeare, and Lewis Carroll novels delicately.
"I love it," she stated, turning to the blue-eyed original. He looked at her carefully, then hugged her tightly. "I love you, Ria. Goodnight."
She hugged him back. "Sleep tight," she responded the skipped towards the bed.
Klaus walked towards the door and flipped off the light switch. With a genuine smile, he finished, "don't let the bed bugs bite."
