Heya! Thank you for all the feedback! It honestly touches my heart!! I only own Eerika and any other stuff I make up. Title of song: House of the Rising Sun. I especially like Jacquie Lee's studio version cover!

3rd P.O.V.

Weeks had passed since Eerika's return. The chaos that heavily stained the small town in Virginia had dimmed upon the arrival of the young girl. The war between her family and the others had seemingly evaporated. Of course, there was still the obvious distrust and distaste between the two groups, which resulted in Eerika being placed in the middle of the unspoken battle. The beautiful girl continued to be a mystery to the Scooby Gang. They never really talked to her, and she never really spoke to them. The occasional stare from them and smile from Eerika was the most communication that passed between the original sister and the Elena Squad. The original family seemed closer than they were before the witch's shocking rise from the dead, but even their little sister's presence could not strip away the betrayal, hurt, and mistrust that had tarnished the Mikaelsons' relationships.

Eerika sat peacefully in the gardens of her family's mansion, carefully watering the plants, while removing the weeds with a sorrowful expression burned on her face. Removing weeds from the garden was a difficult task for her. Even though the specific chore was a necessary requirement for her favored hobby, it still saddened Ria to remove the"outcasts" or "villains" of the plant world, all for the sake of perfection. Must you really eliminate something society deems ugly to create beauty? The question lingered in her mind, as she produced an angry scoff. Eerika firmly believed that everyone was unique, and everyone held their own opinions, so the amount of loveliness an individual maintained was immeasurable. As she persisted in her job, she silently sang a song that she had decided was her favorite.

"There is a house in New Orleans, they call the Rising Sun

And it's been the ruin of many a poor boy

And God, I know I'm one

My mother was a tailor

She sewed my new blue jeans

My father was a gamblin' man

Down in New Orleans

Now the only thing a gambler needs

Is a suitcase and trunk

And the only time he's satisfied

Is when he's on a drunk

Oh mother, tell your children

Not to do what I have done

Spend your lives in sin and misery

In the House of the Rising Sun..."

Eerika's singing was interrupted by a loud crash and a rage-soaked yell. Standing up hastily, while ripping off her gloves, Ria vampire sped towards the offending sound, fully aware that Klaus was the source of the unsettling noise. Her stomach twisted in fear for her older brother's safety. She knew he was pretty much invincible, but memories of their human days were forever engraved in her mind.

***Flashback***

"Niklaus?" A small, raspy voice called out to the older boy who had blood gliding through the thin fabric of his shirt. The only light illuminating the small porch outside of the Mikaelson hut was the calming glow of the full moon. Her beloved brother's head raised, as he released a shaky breath. His beautiful blue eyes were filled with despair and pain, something that made her heart clench in dejection. Her older brother's eyes were something that always comforted the little girl who adorned a patched up dress that swallowed her whole. The blue crystals were always filled with mischief and joy, but she had noticed how his azure irises had begun to dim due to the rejection of their father. "Ria, what are you doing awake? You know Mother will have your head if she finds you wondering around." The brunette's lower lip popped out, as her older brother scolded her in a gentle tone.
