Light immediately looks down when he heard the splashing sound of water and he found a deep lake underneath the cliff.

Thank God.

He thought but suddenly, a rush of adrenaline came to his nerves when he didn't saw any sign of Artemis ascending the surface.

Fuck! Where the hell is she!?

He's starting to get frighten and without hesitation, he jumps off the cliff and dived at the lake. He searches for any sign of Artemis and he froze upon seeing a floating figure not too far from where he is, and he immediately swims towards it until it took the figure of Artemis and without any delay, he grabs her and hurriedly ascended the surface.

"Fuck! Artemis! Artemis! Wake up! Wake up! Damn it!!" he's in a panic state and brought her to the ground, he grabs her wrist and find her pulse but he has no luck, he pumps her chest trying to revive her but she's not responding. His heart is pounding and fear consumed him.

"Damn it, wake up Artemis, please." He begged and pump her chest once more, he lay his head on her chest to hear her heartbeat and suddenly, her chest starts to vibrate and so he moved away to have a good look into her face and she is chuckling and he froze with the sight of her sitting up while laughing.

"You should have seen your face." She said and continued to laugh.

"YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE DONE THAT!!!!!" he yelled and grabbed her shoulders, his eyes filled with anger.

"Don't take it too seriously, I was just joking." She said giggling.

"IT WASN'T FUNNY!!!! YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TERRIFIED I AM!!! YOU DON'T KNOW HOW SCARED I AM THINKING THAT I MIGHT LOSE YOU FOREVER!!!!" he yelled in anger and Artemis couldn't help but to feel guilty. She avoided his glare and her eyes are starting to feel warm.

"I-I'm s-sorry." She wept and Light just lose all his senses.

"S-Sorry--I-I didn't know what I was thinking----I----I'm very sorry---I'm sorry, please---please forgive me." She added and Light suddenly grabbed her arms and hold her for a warm embrace.

"Shhh, please don't cry, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to yell at you, I just-----I'm just afraid of losing you." Light whispered right into her ears and Artemis couldn't help but to burst into tears because of so much emotions and because he was startled, he pulls away to look into her eyes.

You made her cry, idiot!
