"Artemis?"

Artemis instantly froze when she heard a familiar voice that called out her name. 

Her breathing became heavy and slowly, she turned to where the voice came from. And there, not too far from where she is, stands a figure that she thought she'll never set eyes on again appeared in front of her with a bewildered look on his face, and without hesitation, she ran towards Light and gave him a tight embrace. Her tears continued to fall.

"I-I thought I'll never see you again." She whispered and she felt Light's arms snaked around her and hugged her tight.

"I believe that's not possible Artemis." He said softly and gently pulls off to look straight in to her emerald green eyes.

"Because I won't last a day without you." He whispered and his heart started to pound like he's about to be sent in hell as he stared right at her eyes and without warning, three words escaped his mouth that made Artemis unable to think clearly.

"I love you." He whispered with full of sincerity, he doesn't care if Artemis will reject him, if she's not ready to answer him, all he wants is to let Artemis know how he feels, how much he loves her. And will never leave her side.

"I-I love you too." She said in a very low voice that came out as a mumble in his ears. Artemis feels embarrass and her heart is pumping like she had run a thousand miles.

"What did you say?"

"I said, I love you." She whispered once again, still not enough for Light to hear clearly and so he asks once again.

Irritated, Artemis grabs Lights shoulder causing him to lower down his head and she instantly gave him a peck on the lips.

"I said I LOVE YOU. I love you. I love you. I LOVE YOU." She said irritated and after recovering from the shock, Light chuckled.

"I love you too, my ravishing goddess." he whispered.

Slowly and gently, Light held Artemis's cheeks with so much care and gave her a tender kiss, full of affection and devotion, letting her feel how much she means to him, how much he loves Artemis, and with this kiss, they seal their love to one another.

FOREVER.
