"Hey, it's okay, I-I'm not mad at you, please stop crying. It pains me seeing you cry." He whispered while wiping off her tears using his thumbs.

"It's just that---I'm such an idiot---I--I'm sorry for being so stupid." She insulted herself and continued to weep.

"Hey, hey, listen, you're not idiot or stupid, okay? Don't say that to yourself." Light said trying to soothe her but she's too stubborn to listen.

"But it's the truth! Who in the right mind would play a prank like that? I'm deserved to be called stupid." She declared and he just turn his head sideways.

"That's not true."

"It is!" she argued like a child and still, Light disagrees.

"It's not."

"It is! I'm a dumb, moron, stupid, idiot, brainless, incompetent, foo-----------"

Irritated, Light didn't let Artemis finish her sentence, instead he grabbed her nape and kiss her on her lip, the lady froze and stared into his ocean blue eyes after he pulls off.

He's lost of words and so is she, and another thing they have in common right now are hearts pounding like there's no tomorrow, it's like they're frozen in their own world. Light didn't know what got into him, his body just move and everything felt like heaven.

"Ehem." He fakes a cough and avoided Artemis's eyes.

"Yo-you're not stupid, okay?" he whispered and Artemis just nod.

"You-you're intelligent, kind and incredibly beautiful, so don't say those awful things about yourself." He added and Artemis felt so embarrass she covered her face using her hands.

"Wh-why don't we go back?" he asked and Artemis just answered him with a nod, they stood up and walk but Artemis suddenly froze and grabbed Light's hand and run towards the nearest tree.

"What's wro--------" Light couldn't finish his word for a chopper appeared from above and announced a message that made Artemis feel frighten.

"Mr. Light Wayne Stuart, this is officer Teza Mae Salison, we're the search party sent by your friends."

Artemis froze and lost all hope of being with Light forever.
