Thankfully the weekend is finally apon us, after my dragging and strenuous first week of high school I couldn't be any happier to have a break. Apparently, I have been quite tired myself due to the fact that it is already almost one in the afternoon and I'm just waking up now. The question is should I actually leave my bed or not... Probably.

Grabbing my phone from under my pillow I unplug it and squint my eyes as they struggle to adjust to the brightness. Scrolling through notifications I see I've been added to a group chat, weird since I didn't give any of them my number. I sigh lightly seeing Derek still hasn't answered any of my messages. Peter told me not to be worried and that he probably just went to his loft, but why would he leave me stranded and not answer any of my texts or calls? Rolling my eyes at the thought I push my body out of bed and begin reading the group chat. Apparently there's a party that I'm invited to. Which kind of surprises me considering I didn't expect any of them to be the party type, except maybe Lydia who invited all of us.

I'll be there.

Sending the message I grab my undergarments and robe then heading into the bathroom to shower.

Don't ask me how this happened, but I agreed to Allison picking me up early so her and Lydia can give me a makeover. I mean I'm not upset about it since I have little to no idea on how to do my hair and makeup having no use for it in Eichen, so this should be interesting to say the least. Throwing a bunch of random articles of clothing into a bag I throw it over my shoulder and get a text from Allison as if on cue. Throwing the bag over my shoulder I make my way out of my room to see Peter eating some sort of pasta. Looking up from his food to see me he gestures towards the bowl as I shake my head slightly to show my disinterest. "I'm actually going to Lydia's. Did you hear from Derek yet?" I question with a small glint of hope evident in my voice. Shaking his head I nod a little trying not to show how much my brothers disappearance is bothering me.

"Ready?" Allison asks as I enter her car and she slightly turns the radio down. "As ready as I'll ever be." I say rolling my eyes playfully while she just laughs it off. Starting down the street that I assume leads it's way towards Lydia's house she speaks up again. "So I'm guessing you've never been to a party?" Allison asks a little questioningly, probably just to be nice due to with my back history it's not rocket science to guess. Sighing I sit up a little more thinking of my past. "I mean there was little holiday gatherings in Eichen..." I say dragging out giving Allison an insure look before seeing her laughing a little. "I'm s- sorry." She says laughing into her hand a little. "Is that sad?" I laugh a little with her as she shakes her head and I notice is pulling up to a nicely sized house, which I'm guessing is Lydia's. "Don't worry." Allison says stepping out of the car as I fallow her as we start up the driveway to the front door. "You'll have fun tonight." Her voice more like a promise then a statement, but in a comforting type way.

"I'm thinking... Curls." Lydia says more to herself then to me as she runs her hands through my hair looking in her vanity mirror. "Loose curls." I hear Allison call from the bathroom where she's currently changing. Cocking her head to the said Lydia smiles a little after a few minutes of contemplating the idea in her head. "Deal." She calls back to Allison while she spins me around to face her and away from the mirror while she picks up her curling iron. The smirk on her face makes me a little uneasy, but I'm actually trying to trust her right now.

Apparently my hair is done but they aren't allowing me to see it until I'm finished. Why do I suddenly feel like a science fair project right now? Shaking off my anxieties Allison reminds me not to move as she applies some form of lipstick to my lips. Letting a breath out Allison pulls away looking back and fort between the two of my eyes. "Okay! I think your done." She announces as Lydia hands me clothing. "Go change." She motions me towards the bathroom as I hesitantly grab the clothing from her and make my way into the room where I was told to change stripping from my current clothing. Looking in the mirror I see my lips have a matte looking natural nude color on them and my eyes are smokey and shimmery. It looks a bit much, but so did the other makeup. Lydia insists that you need to wear more then normal to parties so it's actually noticeable in the dark lighting.
