"I Don't See The Monster You Said I Was Before"

Gracie <33 

I woke up at about 3am still on the couch in Dylan’s arms. We must have fallen asleep while watching the movie because the TV was still on. I reached out and grabbed the remote off the table and tuned off the TV. Then I leaned over and whispered in Dylan’s ear, “we should go to the bed, it’s a little bigger.” Dylan groaned in response then asked what time it was. His groggy morning voice was so sexy it took me a while to remember that he was waiting for an answer. 

“ummm, 3:16” I said starting to get up. Dylan on the other hand had other plans. He grabbed me and pulled me back down on the couch onto his lap. He then gave me a quick kiss as he stood up with me in his arm, and ran over to the bed. Dylan then put me down on the bed, and then jumped on it just barely missing me. 

As I got under the covers Dylan grabbed me and held me close to him, then fell asleep almost instantly.

I woke up in the hotel bed with Gracie still fast asleep in my arms. It was still early and I didn’t want to wake her so I just lay there thinking back over the last 24 hours. You see more than Gracie thought had gone on. 

Flashback:

It was 7 am and my plane was to board in a few hours. I was at my house getting everything ready to go when Britt walked in looking pissed….she had found out about Gracie and wasn’t happy about me going to see this girl when we were still technically dating. I had been trying to break up with her for weeks now, but she always managed to make it impossible. She would either get a phone call or she would say she had to go. We both new it was coming but she was trying to prolong our time as a couple. 

I knew that if I didn’t end it now I would regret it. Britt came up to me with fiery eyes, “if you do anything with this girl you will regret it. You hear me? I am your girlfriend not her.” 

I tried to keep my cool as I replied, “about that Britt, ummm I don’t want to date you any more. I don’t think we are really right for each other, so I think its time that we move on to other people.”

“Are you breaking up with me Dylan??” Britt screamed. I could see the hurt in her eyes. I just wanted to get away from her, nothing she could do right now would change my mind. 

“Yah Britt I am.” I said with full eye contact. Britt turned on her heels and marched out the door before slamming it behind her she yelled, “You’re a monster Dylan. After all we have been through your ending it because of some girl you have never even met. You are so fucking shallow you know that?”  With that she slammed the door and soon I could hear the engine of her car start outside.

I slumped down on the couch with a sigh, glad that that was finally over with.  Britt and I had been together for a while, but the media thought we had broken up a while ago. It felt good not to lie to my fans anymore, I really was single now. I just hope that this doesn’t end up biting me in the ass...

End of flashback

Gracie <33 

I woke up in Dylan’s arms with the sun shining in my face. 

“Morning gorgeous” Dylan said smiling into my hair. 

“Morning Dyl” I said quickly realizing that it was the first time that she had called him that off twitter.

Dylan chuckled “I like it when you call me that.” He said as he propped himself up on one elbow so he could see her face. 

Gracie smiled at him relieved that he was okay with is. 

“Now I’m just going to have to find a nickname for you!” Dylan said grinning.

“Well technically you already call me by my nickname, because my name is really Grace, I just go by Gracie.” I said while sticking my tongue out at him. 

“That’s no fun! I have to find a different nickname to call you!” he said as a mischievous smile spread across his face.

“Good luck with that” I said as I buried my face in his chest. 

“What a bout Gray?” 

“I like it” I said as I smiled up at him.

Heyy guys <333 sorry this took so long... school just started back up! I had like this huge paper i had to write last week so I didn't have time for much else. The joys of being a senior taking an AP class lol. Anyway i hope you like this chapter! 

Back in one of the earlier chapters I had the boys act like Dyl wasn't dating anyone and now you can see he obvi was. Here is why- They did know that Dyl was dating Britt BUT they also knew that they were on their way out and that Dyl was just trying to find ways to end it :) 

Oh and just a heads up- I'm sorry ahead of time to anyone who likes Britt.. I like her as an actress kinda but i don't think shes right for Dylan. I think there's someone better for him out there (And no I don't mean me by that ;P ) So just a heads up on that :) (Although Dylan's tweet yesterday did not leave me very enthusiastic... cuz i think they are still dating and it bugs me)
