-His Anti-Social Heart-
-Chapter One-Anastasia's POV~
We live in a cruel world.
A place where you can easily become bad.
Breaking a someone's bone, breaking a law, breaking someone's heart.
You can easily be recognized as a mean, cruel person.
It's easy to hate someone than to love them by who they are.
My parents, Evan and Annebeth, were killed in a car crash.
I was just turned 8 years old, when it was my birthday, and they died as my 'present.'
But they taught me valuable lessons.
My mother always taught me to forgive and to always be kind and polite to others, and happiness will come to me.
My father always told me, "Be kind if that's you want the world to be, or else you'll just be corrupted like everyone else"
I decided to be kind, I didn't want to be corrupted.
You'd think as a girl I would be just that.
Be corrupted and depressed my whole life, and just be anti-social to everyone because of an accident.
But, I didn't want that.
I want to be that someone to make a change and make everyone's hearts kind.
Even if it seems like the world is ending.
It's not possible, but if I can fill kindess to those I know, it's good enough for me, for my parents.
I never really wanted to forgive that drunk driver.
But if I wanted to make my parents proud of me, I had to do so.
I sighed.
I get out of my thoughts as a bowl of cereal was placed in front of me.
Since my parents died, I was sent to live with one of my uncles and aunts.
"Thank you, Aunt Meg" I smiled up at her.
She rolled her eyes, I stop smiling.
I breathed in and ate my breakfast.
"Why are we doing this again, Charles?" I hear Aunt Meg say in the kitchen, talking to Uncle Charlie.
"They give us money in exchange for taking care of our niece" Uncle Charlie reminded her.
"Right. Well we have to move again anyways because of this" Aunt Meg said, "The school she's in, is only up to the 2nd year of high school for some shitty reason"
"Anya, come here please" Uncle Charlie called for me.
I finished eating my cereal and hurried over to my Uncle.
I already heard their conversations but I'll just pretend I didn't.
"We are going to move houses and change your school, alright?" Uncle Charlie told me, "But we will let you pick out the home and--"
"We will be picking the school" Aunt Meg cut her husband off.
I don't understand why Aunt Meg, a mean and selfish and lazy person is married to Uncle Charlie.
Uncle Charlie is just like my mother, Annebeth.
She's kind, she is selfless, and generous.
Uncle Charlie always told me I'm just like my mom, and I work hard like my dad.
