High cheekbones, perfect olive skin, and blue eyes that turn green in the sunlight... Oh, how I wish I had known of your twisted tricks. How I wish I had seen the lies behind your smile. It was never gentle.. I should have known I wasn't safe. All the warnings, all the signs, I ignored... Because I thought you were one of the most beautiful creations the world had ever seen. You moved with such grace and held yourself high and proud... Now your arrogance disgusts me. You're like a siren, luring people in with your beauty and lies and then eating them alive, you're a monster. Your lips like flowers and sunshine when our lips collide... But the second I refuse, the moment I say No, your soft hands are like vises burning into my skin. I can feel the bruises starting to take shape before there's even a chance for me to breathe. Now I'm trapped in this prison you've shoved me under. I'm bound by chains that you made with your very own hands. Your fingers are like snakes slithering up my throat and making me want to vomit. All your grace, suddenly elusive, has escaped you while you force your way to get EXACTLY what you want. When you've decided it's enough.. You leave me there. Shaking, scared and scarred. Feeling empty, weak and vulnerable. I will never feel that way again. I will NEVER let YOU make me feel that way again. Am I mad? No, I was never mad, only terrified. Now all I feel for you is pity and disgust. I forgave you long before I should have but what's the point in holding grudges when I know all it'll do is hurt myself?
You were arrested... But not for me, no you got caught torturing another broken soul. And when they put you in cuffs and took you away was there a look of shame devouring your face? No, not even a hint. Instead your terribly beautiful face beheld a sickening smirk. And you still had the nerve to hold yourself proudly... At least now, after almost 2 years... I can finally say your name... Without flinching...
