"thanks for staying up with me cal." isabella said to calum who looked dead (still adorable though), giving the boy a sympathetic smile. calum gave a weak smile to isabella,

"it's no biggie bell, I don't even get much sleep anyway." calum mentioned,  isabella tilted her head in confusion, eventually her eyes turned into saucers, remembering that calum had insomnia.

"calum, you haven't been sleeping?" isabella asked in concern. calum tensed up, he didn't mean to say that, without sleep, the words calum's saying is just clueless to him unless she repeats it to him.

"yes i have." calum lied, letting out a nervous chuckle as isabella eyed the raven haired boy.

"really? for how long?" isabella asked getting closer to the screen, calum looked down to his hands, mumbling a quiet 'two or three hours' under his breath. "calum!" isabella shrieked, she really didn't like to see her best friend suffering insomnia because it kills her, he looks like a dead rat sometimes and she doesn't like it. "when did it start?" isabella asked knowing it didn't just happen now, he must've kept it a secret and she was right, calum did kept it a secret.

"when i moved here." calum admitted, he felt embarrassed, he promised her that he'll get enough sleep everyday but, that hasn't been happening because of the timezones so different and calum is always so desperate for a skype call.

"cal baby.." isabella sighed, looking at the boy who seemed flustered. "i miss you too calum but if you don't sleep, you'll grow weak." isabella explained, pouting at the older boy.

"i know bella. but i just can't sleep without you. it's been hard and ive been trying. really, i have, the most sleep i've gotten was four hours." calum replied sadly. isabella took sam in her hands – the adorable puppy and pet him.

"well i tell you what, i'm gonna send you some stuff through the mail. stuff i own." isabella infromed, smiling brightly at calum who's eyes brighten.

"really?" isabella nodded, lightly laughing. "okay. i'll sleep for you. and for my health and because i want to stay a long life with you."

"stop it," isabella said, covering her red face from embarrassment while calum just laughed. "cal," isabella called out, calum hummed in response. "could you go to sleep now? you have school tomorrow and it's already three am." isabella explained,

"but--"

"please. for me? for sam?" isabella pouted, giving calum the kitten look as sam barks. calum groaned, rubbing his temples, he looked like a zombie and isabella was hoping when he wakes up, he'll look less dead.

"fine, you're lucky you're cute, and sam." calum said making isabella blush for the 100th time.

"goodnight calum. i love you and sam does too."

"goodnight isabella. i love you guys more." calum replied has he sighs, waving across the screen of his macbook, disconnecting.
