Already His // Harry Styles Fanfic

Chapter Nighteen.

Maddie's POV

It wasn't for anything special, but yet Harry still spent money on me for an animal. I hardly understand why because it wasn't any holiday or anything special going on. So it kept me thinking but I still couldn't help the feeling of joy for having my own kitten. Surprised that I named it Cupcake also came to me. Since I disliked the nickname but it reminded me so much of what my father called me. What he always said. It reminded me that he, in his own ways, still loves me as his own child.

"Harry, I swear I will do anything you want. I mean you did this for no reason!" I said as we walked out of the pet store and to Harry's car. I stroked the kittens head lightly behind the ears making it purr slightly. Making me smile brightly. "I did it because I wanted to." Harry unlocked the doors and walked to the passengers side and opened the door for me. I thanked m him and slid into his car graceful trying ever so hard to not upset the small ball of fur in my arms. Once Harry got in I handed him the cat and I buckled myself up and then taking back the little animal.

"But I still want to do something for you." I tried to bring back that subject. I swear he was being stubborn. I was trying really hard to be a good best friend and he wouldn't let me have it. He never gave me an answer so I looked around his car. I looked in the back seat since I've only payed much mind to the front. I spotted a blue SnapBack sitting on the seat, a dark green beanie sitting beside it, and out bags we had from school. I grabbed the SnapBack and beanie and for some reason out both of them on. Beanie first then the SnapBack seat lossy on top.

Harry took a small glance at me. He noticed the hats I was wearing and gave a small smile. "You really like snapbacks and beanies, don't you?" He asked as his smiled got a bit bigger. I nodded looking down at the small kitten sitting in my lap sleeping soundly. "Thank you Harry, I mean it." I said quietly.

Harry's POV

She wanted to do something for me because I got her a cat. It was nice having someone want to pay you back in return for something you got them. But with Maddie I just felt like it was the right thing to do. Get her something and she do nothing in return, as long as we were friends I was good. But that was on lying going to last tree weeks. Then once she knew about the whole marriage thing, we would have to going into the dating stage.

I wanted to stop over thinking about it, so I asked Maddie a few more questions. "So what do you want for you birthday?" I turned the corner getting closer to her house and mine. "Oh that's easy! I want to get a blue Dodge Dart! It's the perfect car for me. Also I want to get an apartment." She said bopping her head lightly to the music as she talked. Once the song Love Somebody by Maroon 5 stopped playing a song I hadn't heard in a while started to play. She Will Be Loved by again Maroon 5 and I stole a small glance at Maddie.

Once the lyrics started I heard a angelic voice boom open from beside me. I looked at Maddie to see her singing the lyrics of the song with a bright smile on her face. He voice was amazing. So I decided to join her in singing the song. Once it ended I hit the button off and the radio stopped playing. "I never knew you could sing like that?" I said some what startled as he evoke kept playing in my head. I was sort of wishing it would never stop.

"It's one of my most favourite songs I like to sing. I love the song. I wish someone could love me." The last part was spoken in a hush. I looked over at her and realized what I could tell her.

"Remember when you said that you would do anything for me?" I spoke up and she looked at me. "Yes, I do." She said.

"Give me the chance when it doesn't feel right."
