'You are cordially invited to celebrate the marriage of Nick Tilsley and Carla Connor at 12 noon 14th February 2016 at Farmhaven Hall Hotel.'

"No I don't like it start again!" Carla instructed her hair stylist as she made her take out her hair and do it over again, this was the third time now. Carla wasn't having any luck, no matter what she did to Carla's hair somehow it didn't seem fitting.

"Carla..." Michelle raised her eyebrow, she couldn't help but feel like her best friend was being more than unreasonable.

"Chelle I have to look perfect for him." She sighed softly as she gazed into the mirror. "I don't like my eye make up, do you think it's too much?" She asked biting down on her lip now as she was worried that Nick wouldn't like it.

"You look beautiful." Michelle replied.

"I don't feel it, I look silly and stupid... No way can I marry him looking like this." A frustrated Carla told her.

Michelle rolled her eyes at her as she didn't see what the issue was. "Okay, calm down. Let's start again shall we?" She suggested.

After another half an hour set back Carla's hair was finally complete, she wore it in a loose fish tail braid with curls either side of her face. Her make up done to how she wanted it and finished with a light shaded lipgloss that glimmered. Michelle poured them both a glass of champagne. "Plan on getting married in those?" Michelle asked raising her eyebrow as she glanced at Carla who still wore her pyjamas.

"I have plenty of time yet." Carla spoke carelessly as she sipped her champagne now. "Are you sure I don't look ridiculous?" She asked.

"Of course you don't." Michelle responded.

"Chelle? I'm worried...." Carla started now as she played with the engagement ring she wore.

"Come on Car, please don't tell me your having second thoughts?" She frowned.

"He's going to find out about me and Robert, I know he is. I can feel it already and if Tracey knows then she certainly isn't going to keep quiet. What if she says something today?" She sighed.

Michelle glanced at her as she poured another glass of champagne for herself "we both know that Tracey can stoop low but I doubt she's going to spoil yours and Nick's wedding day." She said.

Nick had made his way over to Michelle's, he couldn't care less about wedding traditions. All Nick knew was that today was the day he was marrying the love of his life. His reason for wanting to see Carla was that it was Valentine's Day but he would soon be in for a nasty shock. He had been let in by Liz and she had given him permission to go straight through. Going to knock on the door, he was stopped by raised voices.

"No... I'm sorry Michelle but you can't tell me that everything is going to be okay today. I slept with Robert remember? Who happens to be my fiancés chef and not to mention the fact that she's Tracey's partner!" She said getting herself more than worked up now.

"Look I'm sure that..." Michelle started before she found herself being interrupted.

"Go on, say that again Car. Say it again so I know that I wasn't hearing things?" Nick asked in disbelief.

Frantically, Carla shook her head. He had heard it all hadn't he? "Nick, I can explain...."

"Save it!" He snapped loosing his temper with her.

"Please? It was a stupid and meaningless mistake do you really think sleeping with him would mean something when I love you?" She asked.

Nick just shook his head.

"Nicky? Baby?" She sighed feeling the tears escape her eyes.

He laughed "your pathetic, your only crying because you've been caught out." He told her.

Carla walked over to her fiancé as she placed her hand upon his cheek now as she looked directly into his beautiful hazel eyes.

"Get off me. Don't touch me!" He shouted pushing her back quite forceful sending her into the wall, it was more than enough to hurt her slim frame whilst Carla just whined a little not saying anything.

"The wedding is off!" Nick threw at her leaving slamming the door shut on his way out of the pub, he felt hurt and let down by her. On the other hand he couldn't help but feel terrible about how he just acted with her, had he hurt her?
