Ch. 14

Chapter 14:

CODYS POV:

"Hey Kayla." I get a little nervous just seeing her.

Our last conversation didn't go to well and I knew she hoped she never met me anymore. All she did was wave at me and walk away. It hurt to know she wanted nothing to do with me anymore. I know I have Kylie, but in all honesty, she's not the one i want. I had so much on my mind about Kayla I guess I just kind of asked Kylie to try getting over Kayla. It was the rush of the feeling that made me do it, and I know it was wrong, but now what? I can't just throw Kylie away. She's a sweet girl, but I just knew shes not the one I wanted.

"She still hates me?" I ask Alli.

"She doesn't say much about it. Every time we ask she just sort of ignores it changing the subject." Alli explains.

"I guess in a way I deserve it." I rub the back of my neck feeling depressed.

Just then, Kylie walks in.

"Hey babe!" she comes in.

"Hey." I smile looking away from Alli.
"What are you doing?" she asks coming to sit next to me.

"Skyping Alli." Kylie looks at the computer to see Alli.

"Hey Als!"

"Hi Kylie." Alli waves.

"I'll talk to you later Alli. Have fun!" I tell her.

"Alright. Bye Codes! See you soon!" she hangs up the call and I shut my computer.

"Everything okay babe?" Kylie asks.

"Yeah Im fine. Whatsup?"

"I was thinking since were staying in the city over night do you wanna go to the restaurant down the street?" she asks.

"How about we just grab something from the little cafe near the restaurant and come back and watch movies with the boys?" I ask instead.

"That sounds fine." she smiles. I throw on my beanie and vans and grab my phone and we leave for the cafe. She interlocks her hand with mine, but it just doesn't feel right. I just know everything we have isn't real. Of course, on our way to the cafe, a few paparazzi follows us.

"Cody, when did you ask Kylie to make it officially a couple?"

"Cody, what happened to Kayla Brooks?"

"Cody weren't you just seen with another girl?"

Paparazzi would ask question after question but we ignored it walking into the cafe. We order what we want and leave back to the bus with paparazzi still following.

"Kylie, were you jealous of Kayla Brooks?"

"Are you and Kayla friends?"

They bombarded Kylie with questions to. Why did they all have to mention Kayla? It made all of this so much harder. I practically would've broke if we didn't just reach back to the bus. Justin and Flo already had movies picked out. We got comfortable grabbing a few blankets. Justin enjoyed the scary movies, and I actually didn't mind them either. Flashbacks came back from the night Kayla came down stairs when she was doing her sleepover with Alyssa and Alli and I put on the scary show and she cuddled up to my side scared. It was so cute. Kylie tried doing the same. Only, she didn't mind scary movies. I would know because she slept over once with Alli and they stayed up watching scary movies. She attempted to cuddle up to my side, so I put my arm around her shoulders. I just wasn't that into it. Kayla kept coming through my mind. If it was her, she'd basically be in my lap right now, burying her face into my chest trying to get Justin to change it. I wouldn't mind it one bit. By the looks of it, I can tell Justin and Flo didn't like Kylie as much as they liked Kayla. The difference was, Kayla was real and was always tough at times unless it came to her weaknesses. Kylie just kind of acted weak all the time so I would be near her side all the time. It just wasn't the same. Halfway through the movie, Kylie gets up to use the restroom.
