I'll be out of the hospital soon, I couldn't be happier. Only damage done it a slight concussion and a fracture in my arm. I'll have a cast on it for about three weeks at the most.
I can't wait to see all my friends at school. I feel like I've missed a lot. I hate being in this room all day and night it takes me away from the sun and the adventures laid out for me.
"Lauren, are you ready to go?" My dad asks me as he grabs a back pack and slings it on his back.
"Heck ya!" I say with excitement. My mom helps me up and I prance out of the hospital with joy.
Once I got home I went straight to my room. It seemed darker than usual. The lights flickered on revealing a sleeping Cameron? I walk over to him gently trying not to wake him. He slept so peacefully, but even I could see the bags under his eyes. I take a seat next to him and place my hand on his cheek. He looked worse than me. I heard him sigh before his eyes open slowly. As his blue eyes meet mine a smile spears across his face.
"I must've fell asleep while I was waiting for you" he chuckled as he brought me into a big hug
"Hey cam" I softly chuckle at his raspy voice.
"Hey lo" he chuckles back. He had a tiny little scar below his left eye which I gently placed my finger above it. His hand grabbed mine bringing mine away from the scar. I guess he could tell I tensed up a bit. "It's okay Lauren, it's only a scratch you are the real trooper " I gave him a gently smile before getting up my bed.
"How are the others?" I question as I walk over to my closet.
"Uh they've been better. Jacob misses you a lot" his voice cracked near the end. It was kind of hot. Oops.
"Oh yeah? I'll see everyone in a few days" I pull out a red sun dress. "Should I wear this on my day back?" I question pulling the dress over my body.
"Hmm, it does give you justice" cam gives me a flirtatious wink. I jokingly hit his shoulder as I place it back on the rack.
Cams a really nice guy, but I really need my sleep.
