My name is Lauren Matthews, most people tell me I live a perfect life with an amazing mother and father, but on the inside it just isn't me. I want something new I don't want what my parents want for me. I need the thrill of adventure.
I find myself extremely excited for Monday. It's currently 10:39 p.m Sunday night. I'm picking out my outfit for tomorrow. I've been on FaceTime with Jacob for about 2 1/2 hours already. Its a usual thing we do though. I smile as I jump back into bed and glance at my phone. I'll just pick out an outfit tomorrow in the morning.
"I can't wait for next weekend!" I chirp to Jacob he nods in agreement. He's been doing all his homework for the last hour. "Cmon jakey stop with the homework" I groan he looks up at me and rolls his eyes. "Come over " I smile.
"Lauren you know I can't just sneak in every night you want to hang out" he sighs I pout my lip out.
"Cmon you can spend the night. Just bring some clothes. You already have a hairbrush and tooth brush here so you'll be fine" I whine. I could feel him giving in. "You know you want to" I tease.
"Ugh fine I'll be there in ten" he smiles at me. I stick my tongue out as I watch him pack his things up.
"Just keep me on FaceTime while you're driving" I say he nods and walks out of his bedroom. It instantly gets dark and I can't see him anymore. Next thing I know we are in his car. He places me in a position where I can see him, but he can't see me. He buckles up and starts up the car.
While waiting for him to arrive I set up my bed since it's a big bed and half of it is occupied by the most random things. I've always slept on the right side never on the left so why would I need to use it. I see the lights of Jacobs car pull in. I rush quietly down the stairs and out the front door. As soon as he shuts the door I wrap my arms around him. He instantly wraps his arms around me. We sneak upstairs and into my bedroom again. I grab my phone and hang up with him while he sets his things down.
"I'm here so often I should just keep extra clothes here" he laughs as he lays down on the left side of the bed. He grabs the tv remote of the dresser and turns it to Disney channel. He knows me so well. I curl up in the covers and cuddle next to him as Jessie plays.

I wake up to my alarm clock. Jacob was still asleep though. I quickly turn mine off trying not to wake him. He doesn't get up as early as I do. I jump into the shower once I'm done I wrap myself in a towel and walk back into my room. Jacob was still asleep of course. I change into some girl boxers and a sports bra then sit on the ground in front of my mirror. I blow dry my hair off then dump all my makeup onto the ground. Jacobs alarm now finally goes off. I could hear him groaning really loudly. I glance back to see him sitting up rubbing his eyes.
"Can we just ditch school?" He groans I nod his eyes widen "seriously?" He asks I let out a small chuckle
"No silly we can't" I finish spreading primer all over my face and wait for it to set. Jacob stands up and walks out of my room. He takes up the bathroom for atleast ten minutes then comes back with his hair gelled and hopefully his teeth brushed. I watch as he gets into his backpack and pulls out his clothes. I turn on my straightener since I finished my makeup while he was in the bathroom and wait for it to heat up. I walk over to my closet and look through clothes. I glance back at Jacob he had his jeans on, but no shirt. He actually had a nice body. Toned muscles and some abs. I pull out a white shirt and pull it on over my head. I am definitely not wearing these boxers to school I just put them on to get ready. I pull out something more presentable and change quickly. I pull out a pair of black jeans that had two slits on the knee cap and pull them on and slide my belt through the loops.
"Are you almost ready?" He asks I nod
"Let me finish my hair then I need to brush my teeth and I'll be good" I smile he nods and flops down on my bed again turning on the tv. I finish straightening my hair then rush into the bathroom before Jordan does and quickly brush my teeth. I walk back into my room and pull on some converse.

"Let's go" I smile and drag him down stairs. I quickly grab an apple then my backpack and we rush out of the house. I jump into the passenger seat and throw my bag in the back while he gets in.
We make it to school within 20 minutes. He parks in his usual spot and we get out. I glance around observing everyone quickly before Jacob comes to my side and we walk together. Most people think of us as a couple, but I could never date Jacob he's too much of a brother to me. We walk down the hallway towards our first class. Around here we wear our backpacks to class and rarely use the lockers. I give Jacob a goodbye hug as we go our separate ways. We don't have much classes together, but we have lunch together and that's all that counts because lunch is my favorite hour. I walk into my pre calculus class and take a seat next to the exchange student. I honestly don't even know her name.
Our teacher mr.Hinga walks in and takes a seat. He is a laid back teacher and helps us a lot. I glance around to see if Jacobs buddy is here today. Brett Harrison. Which he is, sitting in the back of class flirting with the usual person Candice Watergold. I close my eyes as hinga starts his lesson.
the hour went by fast, mostly because I actually like pre calculus or maybe it's just the fact that after this hour I have a class with Janis and Sabrina. I rush into my virtual class and take a seat next to Janis on the other side of her was Sabrina.
"So are you two going to my camping trip?" I question they both nod to my question.
"Why wouldn't be the hottest guys are going" Janis chuckles as she starts up her Mac. I turn the Mac that was in front of me on also and wait for it to power up. I grab my headphones and plug them into my phone and I scroll through my songs. I find my favorite that has been on replay for a while. "You're not there - Lukas Graham". It's a great song.

Lunch finally comes around and I spot Jacob with his little friends. I take a seat next to him and grab one of his cookies off his plate. He always buys two, one for me and one for him. I take a big bite into it and try to listen into the conversation. Honestly I don't like these guys, but sometimes their conversations are pretty funny. It wasn't anything they just talked about the party Saturday night. Not a Night id like to relive. Caleb was talking about how he got laid by a girl name Sophie. I roll my eyes of course they'd get laid. Jacob turns his attention to me.
"Hey my house after school?" He asks as he stares into my eyes. I shrug, thinking.
"Maybe, who will all be there?" I question.
"The boys and that's it. We are just gonna play video games " I roll my eyes "there will be snacks" he teases.
"Okay I'll come" I smile brightly to him. He chuckles before turning his attention to cameron who was now talking.
