My name is Lauren Matthews, most people tell me I live a perfect life with an amazing mother and father, but on the inside it just isn't me. I want something new I don't want what my parents want for me. I need the thrill of adventure.
It felt like forever before we got there. In the span of one hour and 25 minutes I are four whole donuts, a whole bag of cheese puffs and drank three gatorades. I really like Gatorade and Jacob packed my favorite. The light blue ones called glacier freeze or frost. We finally made it we found an empty spot near the water. Cameron parked his jeep by the water. ( just pretend that jeep is a really nice rich boys jeep)
Sabrina and Janis walked off to the group of boys and Jacob and I stayed behind putting up the tents. I was taught how to put up a tent by Jacob. He's helped me most of my life and I've learned a lot because of him.
"Hey want some help with that?" Someone asks me. I jump up. I wasn't expecting that and to be honest it scared me. I looked up at Cameron. All the boys mostly towered over me.
"Uh sure?" I say. He gets on the other side of the tent and starts putting stakes into the ground and everything else. It was the last tent I was putting up. I could've done it myself, but oh well. Before I could start working he finished it. Gosh darn it Lauren stop day dreaming. Cameron gives me a small smile before walking back to the guys. Next thing I know Jacobs arm was slung around my shoulder and we were now walking to the guys also. I look up at him. His blue eyes were bright with the bright sun. A small smile appears on my face I've always loved his eyes.
"Guys I think we should go swimming!" Janis suggests. Everyone nodded in agreement.
"Okay the bags are in my trunk. Just change in the tent that are yours" Jacob says. I follow behind him towards his truck with everyone else. I grab my bag and walk off to Jacob and i's tent. I zip up the thing and change into my bottoms and pull on my top. I groan because I knew this was going to happen. I suck at tying my top bathing suit and they are both untied.
"Lauren I'm coming in" Jacob says after already unzipping the tent. He crawls in and chuckles at the sight of me.
"Help please" I pout. He nods and crawls over to me. I move my hair out of the way and hold onto the front of my top. Jacobs cold hands made a chill go up my spine as they brushed against my skin. A few seconds later he was done.
"Alright, now I need to change" he says I crawl out of the tent and zip it up. I don't need to be in there while he changes. I walk towards the group of people also known as Jacobs boys and my girls. I smile at Janis as she was the only one looking at me. I walk over to her and examine her bathing suit. It was super cute. A triangle bathing suit green and blue. Sabrina wore a pink bathing suit just plain pink, but I couldn't say anything because mine was just plain Black.

"Let's get in" I chirp as I rush over to the deck.
"Lauren" I heard someone call. I turned my head not expecting Jacob to be so close. I felt his arms scoop me up.
"No jacob!" I scream, but it was too late. I was under water. I came up with my hair all over my face. "I'm going to kill you" I say as I wipe my hair out of my face. Jacob was already out of the water though. He was about to jump in again. I swam back staring at him not wanting to get hit. I bumped into someone with an umph.
"I'm sorry" I say as I turn around. It was Brett. He just chuckled
"It's alright Lauren" maybe these guys aren't that bad, but then again they are rude and disgusting. I searched the water for Janis or Sabrina. I found Sabrina first so I swam to her leaving Brett without a goodbye.
"Lauren this is such so much fun thank you for inviting me!" She cheers. I nod, it's not like I had any other friends to invite and she knew that. I just gave her a small smile before turning my attention on the guys splashing eachother.
"Let's play chicken" Sam suggests. All the guys turn to the girls. I of course get on Jacobs back. Janis got on Sams, Sabrina got on calebs and Cameron got on Brett's. Jacob was facing Janis and Sam. I started laughing before anything happened. I tend to laugh a lot. Janis and I start pushing eachother and such, it last for like three minutes until Jacob pushed Sam and he fell. I bursted out laughing. Jacob moved over to Sabrina and Caleb and Cameron and Brett. They were fighting and we were just waiting. I high fived Jacob from below and watched the fight go on. Cameron almost lost his balance, but he stayed on. Then one more push and Sabrina was off. I held in my laugh. Both Brett and Cameron turned to us at the same time.
"Game over" I chuckled to Jacob
"Cmon we got this" he said back to me. Jacob and Brett eyed eachother as they came closer together. I looked up at Camerons blue eyes and smiled, but then my eyes traveled down to his arm, he had a tattoo. Am I just now noticing it? It was pretty big. He chuckled and pushed my first, but it was very gental not hard enough to knock me off. I push him back, but hard. He grabbed my hands and we tried to push eachother with our hands Locked together.
"If y'all both keep locking your hands like that you both are gunna fall" Brett says. I pull away and push Cameron. He was off guard and fell. I heard Jacob cheer and push my off his shoulders. I then fell into the water. I looked at him with a glare
"Sorry I was excited" he smiles at me.
"I'm hungry" I say as I pull myself up the latter. Water dripped onto the deck as I walked. I walked over the the fire pit and peered in. We are going to need some wood. I found my sandals and started walking into the woods.
"Lauren wait!" Someone calls. I turn to see Sam? He rarely talks to me. "I'll help" he gives me a small smirk as we both start walking around picking up logs of wood.
