The plane ride back to Qingdao was smooth for the most part. There were a few bumps here and there, but that didn't mean Tao removed his head from Sehun's shoulder.
After Tao had stood up for Sehun, he got in a huge trouble and wasn't allowed any contact with the members until he "realized his mistakes." It was odd that the company did this considering Tao made no mistakes; he just had a different view on Sehun being gay.

The captain came over the PA, speaking in a language that Sehun was not accustomed to. The younger boy could only assume that they were landing considering the plane was getting closer to the ground.
The plane hit the concrete with a loud rumbling sound, and Tao sprung up from his sleep.

"What was that?!"

Sehun faked a panicked face,
"WE'RE CRASHING! WE'RE CRASHING!"

Tao's heartbeat increased and his face turned bright red. He couldn't die now!! He still hadn't told Sehun the 'thing'!

Sehun's joke was ruined when the captain came back over the intercom, which resulted in Tao hitting Sehun repeatedly; leaving his pale arm covered in red marks.
Thankfully the plane was rather empty, so the two boys were able to get off the plane rather quickly, and smoothly.
To Sehun's surprise, the airport wasn't packed either. No fans were outside waiting for them. It was almost like they were normal for once. Eventually they got their extra luggage from baggage claim, and Tao began to search around the airport for someone.
Sehun had no idea who he was looking for until he saw an older woman with a huge smile on her face.

"Tao," Sehun shook with fear, "is that your mother?"

"Yes! She's a nice woman, so don't be scared. You should be worried about my father, but you won't meet him until tomorrow!" Tao sounded like it was completely okay for Sehun to meet his parents.

The two walked closer to the woman, and Tao began to wave at her. She unexpectedly ran towards him, and wrapped him in a big hug.
Mother and son began speaking their native tongue, so Sehun just awkwardly watching the two reunite.
Tao stopped her for a quick moment, and introduced her to Sehun.

"Hello," Tao's mother said this in perfect Korean, and even did a 45 degree bow.
This shocked Sehun a bit (she must've done her research), and he greeted her back.

Tao's mother looked back at Tao and said something in Chinese. Sehun knew it was something about him because he heard his name. Did she not like him?!

"My mother says that you are very handsome. She is jealous you are so skinny. Also she also said you can call her mom."

Sehun rolled his eyes,
"I don't know how to say mom in Chinese, Tao."

"It's mama. Don't roll your eyes at me, punk!"

Sehun's new mother (he guessed that's how you would put it) erupted into laughter, and then grabbed both boys by their wrists, dragging them out of the airport. The younger boy finally realized where Tao got his persistence from.

His mother lead them to a car, it was quite fancy, and instructed the two to put their luggage in the trunk. They did as they were told, and got back into the car. Tao took the front seat, so Sehun was left all alone in the back with nothing to do but stare at his phone. Trying to have a conversation with Tao was pointless because Sehun's Chinese was weak, and he feared being made fun of for it.
Because of the ravishing boredom that consumed his soul, he fell asleep with his head properly smushed against the window.

Tao looked back at Sehun to see that the younger boy was asleep. His hair was all ruffly, drool was dripping out of his mouth, and his face was smushed up against the window. Seeing the boy he loved (Sehun didn't know he loved him yet) looking like this made him smile like a kid in a candy shop.

"You love him don't you?" Tao's mother asked, keeping both of her eyes on the road.

"I'm not sure mother. I'm scared of what dad will think."

His mother responded with a bone chilling voice,
"Oh I talked to your father. He'll accept it."

Tao left the conversation at that because he wasn't interested in what horrible things his mother had done to her husband.
