This was quite possibly the worst date Sehun had ever been on. Earlier in the day he was refusing Tao's "sympathy date" plans, so he decided to get out of the house with his leader. Sehun thought that just maybe, just maybe it would help him get his mind off of Tao; however it did the exact opposite.

It's not that Junmyeon was a bad person or anything, he just didn't like what Sehun liked. Junmyeon had dragged the poor boy all around Seoul's finest shopping centers like he was Sehun's mother. Junmyeon was also a master bargainer & he was always trying to find the cheapest, yet highest quality shirt. When Sehun mentioned "you're like a mom." Junmyeon got quite offended, and consequently Sehun was having to hold all the clothes Junmyeon wanted.

His arms fell asleep under the weight of the clothes, and the poor boy hoped that his arms would just spontaneously fall off (that didn't happen).
After Junmyeon's "little" shopping spree he dragged Sehun into a dingy cafe that only sold: coffee and muffins.

"Don't these muffins taste a bit," Sehun took another bite of his muffin, "a bit soggy?"

"No. I like these muffins."

Sehun pushed his plate towards Junmyeon. The older boy snatched the muffins off the others plate & shoved them into his mouth. It was rather disgusting watching all of the crumbs spill out of his mouth.

Sehun thought maybe the coffee would wash down the sugary film that coated his tongue, but he quickly discovered that the coffee was burnt.

"Oh my god," he started gagging on the hot liquid, "this coffee is burnt."

"Shut up. You just don't have a developed taste yet." Junmyeon bravely took a swig of the coffee and exhaled in satisfaction.

That's when Junmyeon let the cat out of the bag,
"Kris used to come here with me after shopping. I miss him." Junmyeon's face pulled into a frown, "he was the only one who really understood me & now I have no one."

"You have ten other guys living with you. I don't understand how you can be lonely." Sehun scoffed.

Although Sehun laughed at this he knew that deep down inside he felt the same way.

"It's, nevermind it's nothing." Junmyeon took another sip of coffee and Sehun could see tears in his eyes, "lets go."

Junmyeon left the table without waiting for Sehun, and he wondered if this is what Kris felt like; knowing he was leaving, but failing to wait for everyone else.

"You can go back to the dorm. I'm going to walk some more. Bye." Junmyeon tried to wave Sehun away, but he followed him like a lost puppy.
He felt bad for Junmyeon to be quite honest. Being a leader was stressful and it didn't make it any easier when the only person who understood how hard it was left you.

"Sehun," Junmyeon turned around, "you can leave."

"No. I want to be here for you." Sehun stammered, "I know what it's like to be left all alone."

Junmyeon tried to tell Sehun to leave again, but it came out as a gut wrenching croak as Junmyeon bursted into tears.
They weren't small tears that elegantly trailed down his face, instead they were huge alligator tears that left raindrop marks on the ground.

Sehun embraced the leader in his arms. It felt different when he wasn't the one being babied, but it also felt good to bring the person he aspired to be comfort.

"Maybe it's the wrong time to say this, but baby don't cry tonight." Sehun laughed as he made a reference to one of their older songs.
He felt Junmyeon's chest move up & down as he laughed.

"This is so funny. The youngest one is taller than me." Junmyeon started to laugh more & his tears stopped falling. He let go of Sehun and brushed his shoulders off.

"Tao told me he wanted to apologize to you a few days ago. Did he?"

"Yeah he did today. I accepted it, but I think I'm done with him for now. Actually I want to get back with Luhan since you know I'm so lonely."

Junmyeon inhaled through his teeth. Sehun must've been a bit behind.
"Well you need to talk to Xiumin about that. Him and Luhan have a thing right now."

To be honest, Xiumin scared the crap out of Sehun.  He wasn't sure why, but they never managed to get along very well. Sehun started thinking about it in his head: Xiumin and Luhan, Lay and Chen, Chanyeol and Baekhyun (Tao didn't really care about Baekhyun being with Chanyeol), Tao and Baekhyun, Jongin and Kyungsoo. That left just Sehun and Junmyeon as the lonely ones. Sehun wasn't exactly opposed to "hanging out" with Junmyeon, but he wasn't sure what Junmyeon liked and how he was. (Seeing as he rarely talked to Kris).

"I know what you're thinking right now, Sehun."

Junmyeon's voice snapped him out of his trance. He was thinking about shirtless Junmyeon; he had perfect abs.

"And?"

"It's a no from me. I love you, kiddo. But you aren't for me. Maybe you should talk to Tao again. He misses you. I hear it all from Baekhyun too."

"Really?"

Junmyeon nodded his head.
"There's nothing more annoying than hearing Baekhyun whine about Tao always staring at you. I don't really understand since Baekhyun has Chanyeol anyways, but I guess he's possessive about that kinda stuff."

This immensely reassured Sehun. Maybe he still had a chance at what he wanted: love from Tao.
