The next morning was different. Kyungsoo was not frying eggs in his favorite pan, Yixing was not watching the news and sipping on green tea, and Tao was not placing kisses on Baekhyun's delicate face. 

There was a light rapping sound on Sehun's door and he mumbled out a short, 

"Come in." 

His nose was currently buried in the latest chapter of his favorite webtoon, a story about a male vampire who falls in love with human, he easily related to it. When he looked up from the comfortable glow of his screen Tao was standing in the doorway. The bags under his eyes were more prominent than usual, and his hair was a complete mess. 

"Oh, never thought I would see you here again," Sehun looked down at his phone again, trying to ignore the boy who stood in front of him, "what do you want?" 

"I," the older boy bit his lip nervously, "I want to apologize for everything. I'm sorry I neglected you so much. I didn't mean to let you down." 

"Well you are a few months late on your apology, but I think I can still accept it," he glanced at the calendar on his nightstand, "you had a day left anyways. I appreciate the thought though." Sehun flashed the older boy a smirk, and continued to "read" his webtoon. 

"Do you want to get coffee together?" 

"No." 

"What ab-"

"Zitao, I'm trying to finish my webtoon. The apology was enough. I really do not need your artificial love at the moment. I'm content with just being single right now. Please leave me be and go back to Baekhyun. Thanks. Be sure to close the door on your way out."
